These are beautifully classic yet edgy at the same time. Great with pants, jeans and skirts. I received so many compliments I now have 2 pr; black and ivory. Very comfortable. I sized up 1/2 size, as I always do in a boot and they fit perfectly. Truly a go to boot that can be worn frequently and compliments every outfit; business, casual or dressy.
This is one of softest and comfortable fitting shoes..but then, Franco Sarto is like fine dining. I sized up a half inch because of the point at the front. If you like exact fit, purchase your true size. Fits beautifully and adds an air of fancy to my Jeans. Recommended and will purchase in other colors.Update after 18 months..... leather or plastic overlay stripping. Disappointed but still the soft and classy pair, design and fit. Looking for leather boots however
Material used in this boot is definitely subpar. Cheap looking and not worth even reduced sale price. Style was attractive but definitely needs to be produced with better materials.

I bought the first pair of these black Franco Sarto Forta booties a year or two ago, and they still look great. I bought a second pair this year as back up because I can't imagine a fall/winter season without these. They are a good looking faux leather, so I wear them through rain, slush, snow, mud and don't worry about ruining them. I get compliments all the time. There is plenty of room for a sock in these (they might run a tad big, but not enough to make them feel sloppy) and I can literally walk for miles in these things. While the shape is western-inspired, the clean design makes them pretty versatile. I've dressed them up a bit with black jean or pointe pant and dressy sweater or jacket, done edgier outfits with black faux leather pants and sexier top, and they look great with bootcut, straight leg or even a narrower leg jean. I have more than gotten my money's worth out of these booties!
Loved the boot. Runs a whole size larger than I normally wear.
