I’ve been wearing these for months and I still love them. They’re easy to slip on and comfortable for walking whether that be a trip to the store or an all day outing. I also love how easy they are to clean with just a wet wipe. There is a slight support inside the toe area that helps the shoe to keep its form, so that’s a nice bonus. I need a wide toe box, and this shoe offers enough room while still having a slender look.
I wanted a day-to-day slip on neutral colored ballet shoe that had a lot of room to wiggle my toes. (I have Flintstone feet). This one fit the bill the best, although even with my wide, high volume foot I needed to add an insert to give me a little more of a snug fit. One of the things I really like about these shoes is the little loop at the Achilles heel. I bought some matching shoelaces that I run through that little loop and I can wrap around and loosely tie at my ankles for a little bit of a different look sometimes. These are not the sexiest ballet flats, pointy toe ballets still are the queen of style but not very comfortable for me. I'm a big fan of Flatsocks so if you are looking for something to give you a little snugger fit I highly recommend those as well with these shoes. I hope you found my review helpful!

These are really nice shoes and I’m super disappointed that they don’t fit right. They’re both too big, and almost too small, I typically only purchase shoes with wide toe box, or barefoot shoes because regular shoes crunch my foot bones, these are wide in the toe box, they’re soft and comfortable, but the entire shoe is also wide, not just the toe box, so my foot slides all over the place, mostly forward when walking, jamming my toes against the end. And, no, they’re not too big, because standing still, they fit perfect. I’m sad about it, because like I said, they’re comfortable, nice, well made shoes. I was walking and one slipped off my heel and caught in my pant leg, I tripped and nearly fell, can’t have that, so I’ll be returning them. Additional info: I typically wear 8.5-9, I ordered 8.5 because it said wide, 8 would be too small length wise. Also, I got the green ones, they don’t look green in the pic, and they also don’t look green in real life either, they’re a nice sandy beige.
This is the second pair of Frank Mullen wide toe box shoes that I have purchased this past year. I love them!! They are so comfortable and I can wear them even when I have to stand for long stretches. Originally, I purchased these because I have Plantar Fasciitis. I will continue to wear these!
I had such high hopes. It's so hard to find shoes shaped like human feet. These looked to have the right size and shape of toe box, and they do! However, for some reason, they also have very WIDE HEELS. They also come up too high under my ankles. Alas, I'm returning them.
I bought two pairs of these shoes in different colors. In honesty, I just wanted a wider toe box but unfortunately the whole shoe is wide. Some say buy a size smaller but then the length would be too short. With the ones I bought, the only way for them to stay on it yo wear very thick hunting socks. I will give them to someone in need rather that you fuss with returns.Update: The owner email and offered a full refund. I had already given them to someone who could use them. I had already purchased a different style (square toed box) and they fit perfectly. Am happy with my purchase and was nice to have them offer a refund. That is great customer service. I will decline the refund because it is hard to buy shoes online and that is not the owners fault. I just wanted people to know that if looking know what wide means.
