Size Matters
These shoes are beyond gorgeous but if you have larger feet and thick calves they sadly won't fit. I wear a size 10 so maybe go up a size or two if you are in that size range.

Awesome Boots, Not Exactly Wide Calf. True to size
These platform patent spiked and chained embellished boots are phenomenally made. They come in a huge box so are not bent or folded. However, they are described as “wide calf,” when I don’t find them particularly wide. I measured the opening circumference at roughly 15” with zero stretch. See, I have crazy thin legs -12” calfs, 18” thighs, so boots are usually ridiculously wide on me. They ARE wide, but not much. The three buckles at the top help. They are functional and allow me to tighten them. In my pictures I have the right leg at its tightest and the left loose.As for fit and comfort, these boots are surprisingly easy to walk in, but don’t offer any support so they’re hard on the feet. I’m a size 10/41, but got a 9, so they’re a bit snug, especially in the heel. They seem true to size. I’ll say that they are not the easiest to put on though, but I have big feet.My only real nitpick is that the inner zipper lays under the o-ring of the ankle strap, so it’s difficult to zip down all the way.Otherwise, these are solid, well made and marvelously designed statement boots. Most folks should be okay, but be careful if you feel you’ve got much larger calfs.
