I am 5'6" and 226 lbs with a size 9 1/2 wide shoe. I ordered the size 10. I wear heavy wool socks and they fit well. I have a bit of room around the middle as I wear sweat pants and pull the hem over my heels, they go on fairly easily and have plenty of leg room. The outside feels tough, so I am expecting to get more than a couple of years of fishing out of them. Four trips and no leaks.
I ordered these for my son hoping that they would just get through this year. However, they surprised me with durability and he was extremely comfortable in them. (He a big 12 year old) my son would usually wear a medium men’s shirt and a 31/30 pant. 7 shoe. These fit him very well so guys keep that in mind. Of course he had a tiny bit of baggie but he could not have gone any smaller in the waist. So I’d say no bigger than 32 waist for the size 8 boot. I agree with others that long term water use and he tending to feel damp in the legs, but I really thing it’s due to sweat. They are pretty warm. All in all, for the money I recommend them. They survived him sliding on rocks, etc!
I purchased these waders and had to return for poor workmanship and quality. I ended dealing directly with Froggs. I had to pay for the return for their defective product...(it was over $40.00 shipping to return them) The rep I dealt with said oh by the way we don't guarantee the new pair we will shipping to you. This company is plainly a joke. I bought the first pair, they leaked after one use, the second pair they sent me leaked (the rep told me I had to seam seal them...are you kidding) after I paid the $40.00 to return them leaked right away.....Never will I buy another pair of Froggs waders or for that matter anything with the Frogg's name on it.
Good product
I’ve heard these may be for duck hunting but I use them for fishing. They are substantially cheaper than the ones my buddies use but I was dry. Highly recommend for either hunting or fishing.
Yo, I snagged a set like this four years back, now pops jacked 'em... four years later for the grind he puts in. Bet it was worth his cash, no doubt.
