Purchased these for a canoeing trip in Arkansas - I didn’t want to get my regular shoes soaked, wasn’t willing to spend the money on expensive hiking sandals, and hate the super-thin soles of cheap water shoes I’ve purchased before. These were just what I wanted and needed and I was able to find a size and color I liked in a cheaper men’s product upon the advice of a friend who generally recommends Duluth and Frogg Toggs.These held up against river rocks and sand, protected my feet, and dried quickly once we were done in the river, and I didn’t feel stupid wearing them in public.
As long as you know going in that the mesh is cotton and the sizing is 1 full size smaller than regular shoes these are the SHIZ-NITT!Water drains right thru the soles and the shoe fits perfectly to your foot (*even if you don't have perfectly shaped feet). I'd buy another pair w/out hesitation....If I could make 1 small tweak it'd be to use a more "squishier" foam sole (truly a small tweak tho as it's already soft).
I got theses to wear on my boat while bass fishing. They are extremely light and comfortable shoes. Unfortunately the soles started to separate on both shoes after being worn two times. Too bad the bottoms are so poorly made.
