Great boot! I love these boots, they have served me well over the last year. I do quite a bit of trout fishing and they have great grip on the bottom of the rivers. They also drain quickly so the walk back to the car is lighter than other boots that I have used. I highly recommend them.
I purchased these as a gift for my son, who generally uses my wading boots since we both have the same size. These Frogg Toggs are very well built and appear to be very durable. Plus they look better than my own boots. The studs for traction are essential in places we like to fish and are very easy to install. Boots are light weight and don't wear you down like some other bigger heavier boots we have used before. They slip right over your waders or wading socks, which makes it like hiking boot during the summer for those long trails along small mouth streams.
Comfortable and great traction
Do not buy a bigger size when ordering these, even if you have extra stocking material. The whole thing will fit perfectly. If you get a bigger size, your foot will end up in a cavern. Ask me how I know. I've used this many times and they are light and comfortable. The only drawback is sand collects and piles up inside even with gaiters, but that is a problem for many wading boots. But if you do not fish the surf like I do, it won’t be a problem.
They do the job but not the best quality
Received boots but NO CLEATS. That is the whole purpose of these boots. I'VE bought these same boots before and they are good boots but I got cleats before. Amazon Rep said they don't come with these and said they don't sell the cleats either. He refunded me $10.60. Now I have to drive 60 miles to store and spend $34.00 for cleats. 10 bucks for Amazon, could they spare it .........
Fly fisherman. I ordered a size larger and extra wwide, room for a nice cushioned sock. Fished the Salmon river for 3 days, Then some smaller streams, comfortable to walk long distances on shore
