These are the ones you’re looking for!

These shoes are my new favorite casual sneaks. If you own Frye boots, these run true to your Frye size and the width/toe box width are in line with most other Frye styles. I ordered the tan leather color and they’re lovely. The leather is buttery soft and a bit shiny (not matte; but certainly not patent). Mine came laced with tan laces that match the shoe color; but an additional pair of off-white laces were also included in the box. I wear a size 7.5 running shoe, but sometimes size down to a 7 for pointy toed flats and loafers (across various brands). However, these ran true to my running shoe size, and the 7.5 fit perfectly with traditional socks. I have duck feet (widest at the forefoot; narrow heel). These shoes were comfortably snug in the toe box (any wider would have made these shoes look less sleek and too clunky). The heel was indeed a little loose on my foot, given my anatomy; but I tied the laces a little tighter at the top and they were fine (as in, I didn’t think about the heel again for the eight hours I wore these). After wearing around the house for twenty minutes, I knew I was going to wear them the rest of the day with no issues. No break in period needed; and no blisters whatsoever after a full day of wear. Frye Ivy Low Lace, I think I love you.

cute but narrow toe box

Cute sneakery-but not clunky shoe with embossed, slightly raised leather design. I really wanted to like them but the leather is stiff and the toe box was too narrow. A friend has the brown smooth leather option and says they fit very differently and are more pliable. I sent her the shoes.

No box, fake?

These shoes were beautiful and soft, but something felt off about the leather. It was so thin and fragile feeling almost like tissue paper. One shoe had no branding and they came without a box. I didn’t pay for fakes so I sent them back. The heel was very low too and felt as if the shoe could come off at any point.
