These run really small, but they are stylish.
These Furuian steel toe shoes, are very stylish and appear to be constructed well. However, they run very small. My husband has worn steel toe shoes to work everyday, for years. He has many pairs in other brands the same listed size as these, and hasn’t had an issue. He could not get his foot in one of these. He said there was no compensation in the toe box to accommodate the rigidity of the steel. It’s a shame he found them unwearable, because they look nice, and it’s always good to have another reliable pair when you have to wear steel toe shoes everyday. I was disappointed that the sizing was inaccurate. I did think the packaging was neat. They arrived wrapped in a film instead of a shoebox.

Furuian Steel Toe Shoes for Men
This is not my first shoe from the Furuian brand. Nor is it my only steel-toed shoe from the brand. As you can see in my photo and in the pics from the Amazon sales page, the shoe is gorgeous and super cool. The construction is solid and tight. But the shoes do not fit "tight". They fit true to US sizing, even though mine is in European sizing. I ordered a US size 12 and got an EU size 48, which is an accurate conversion.Thanks to Amazon and companies like Furuian, ordering and receiving proper US sizing shoes is no longer a problem. With steel and composite toe shoes, many companies were sticking protective toes into a shoe and not adjusting the size. So, we as consumers had to suffer and permit as they kept getting it wrong. Thanks to Amazon for the free shipping and free returns, this process was tedious but not costly. But it cost Amazon a lot for sure, and because of that, they finally got the companies to get the US sizing right. Thus, order your size on this shoe.If you are a veteran, you're going to love this color of sand suede. Just like the big brand boots they issued in Afghanistan and Iraq. But these are a fraction of the cost, and they have a steel toe. Why did the US government never issue steel toe? Strange behavior. I can't tell right now if these will withstand heavy use. My days of humping in the desert are over, but I can tell you, they sure feel comfy and are constructed like they "should" last a while. Heavy duty steel toe boots. Anti slip and confortable!
I walk my dogs nightly usually a few miles and was looking for a comfortable shoe with heavy duty construction. These fit the bill. Very well made. Very comfortable. Steel toe for added safety and seem to do well on wet pavement and dirt.I live in Seattle where we get lots of rain most the year and having an anti slip design really gives peace of mind. Even if I try to intentionally slip with these shoes, they hold strong on the ground.I typically wear size 13 shoe and ordered this size for these. These do seem to run a bit on the smaller size compared to most the shoes I wear. If I had known this before hand, I would have ordered size 14. Not a huge deal, as I just wear thinner socks while wearing these shoes and it works without issue.I love the design and overall look of these. They have a military type feel and appearance. They are very lightweight considering I wear size 13 and usually my shoes are very heavy. These seem to add minimal weight to my overall step!I can see these lasting a long time even with many miles put on them over the next few months.
