I have wider feet and these are really great. Comfy right out of the box and true fit for me with other boots including non-riding boots.

The Gaerne G-Dakar Gore-Tex is an excellent adventure/touring boot for riders tackling mixed conditions—wet weather, gravel, or off-road. It offers high-level protection, reliable waterproofing, and long-ride comfort, making it ideal for casual fire-road & trail riders.Thumper/350R - UT
I wouldn't have expected that Amazon would be the place to buy motorcycle boots; however, I got lucky with these. I have been wearing a pair of older Gaerne ADV boots for about a decade, so I am familiar with the fit and the quality. I ordered these because I want the ankle bracing that these boots feature. Make no mistake, this stabilization is a must-have feature. The boots are, as expected, well-made and give the impression of durability. New for me is the brown suede construction; I like this since they are subtle yet distinctive alternative to all black (which I find gets too hot during long rides in the summer) or the racer-boy neon color schemes of MX boots. The reinforced heel, along with the ankle bracing, makes for a very supportive fit, and when combined with the shin shield, creates a boot that I have complete confidence in from a protection perspective. Add in the Gore-Tex liner for waterproofing and this makes for an excellent ADV or touring boot! A word about sizing: I wear a size 12 in Asics and Brooks, and a 11.5 in Nike running shoes; my previous pair of Gaerne ADV boots are a size 11, and my Sidi road boots are a 46. I ordered a size 11 and feel like they fit well. They are a bit roomy in the forefoot. I have a narrow foot with a high arch and wish that they were narrower (like my Sidis) but I think that the average person will find they fit well. The top of the boot has a pretty big diameter; I think it could be slimmed down. If you are wearing some sort of bracing or have very large calves, this will work well for you, but otherwise I think the opening is a bit too big. So then, why on 4 stars? The first reason is the opening and the roomy fit, I just wish the boots were a little less voluminous. The second reason is that there are only two buckles that secure the boot that are paired with the large velco fastener at the top; I wish they had kept the three-buckle design of the previous version but I guess this is probably a cost savings. That's really it. Do I recommend them? Yes. Would I buy them again? Definitely. If you're in the market for an ADV or touring boot that maximizes protection, then these are an excellent choice.
These boots came and looked great. I immediately took them out into the woods, where I was very impressed with how they held up. The romance didn’t last. Within 3-4 rides, the lower clasp would not stay secured, I was hopping off the bike every ten minutes to re-fasten it. I cleaned the boot, screwed the clasp down tighter, really tried everything to get it to lock in. Nothing worked, now I’ll be looking for a new pair of boots. Really a shame, they look great and are very comfortable, but if they can’t do the job I bought them for; to protect my feet then they are no good to me.
