Designed for comfort and durability
These are high quality thick materials and definitely have that "tactical" look and feel. They are not, however, heavy or waterproof, so I think you could think of them as the middle-ground between heavy boots for running in the mud and tactical street boots for walking the cold streets in all weather.Know your needs. This are not elegant. They are practical. They are not heavy. They are light. They are not waterproof. They are water resistant. They are not $300 leather boots. They are about half that price but made with quality mixed materials.

Great Dependable Boots
These tactical boots are a solid choice if you need reliable footwear for long shifts or tough conditions. They’re made with full-grain leather, so they feel sturdy and protective right away, but what really stood out to me is the comfort level. The increased arch support makes a huge difference when you’re on your feet all day, and they don’t feel overly heavy or clunky like some tactical boots do. The fit is tailored for women, which I appreciated—it feels more natural than unisex boots that always seem a little off. They break in fairly quickly and offer a good balance between support, flexibility, and durability. Perfect for law enforcement, EMS, or anyone needing dependable boots that can handle both indoor and outdoor environments.

Garmont quality
These are sturdy and practical tactical boots for women. We have both the male and female versions in our household and they both do a great job of giving grip, protecting the feet and being comfortable over the course of a long day. They are comfortable right out of the box, which is very important. Not everyone wants to wreck their feet breaking in stiff boots over a week. The women's versions don't have the armor on the tongue and ankles like the men's do, which is an odd decision, but they are significantly lighter than the mens. I guess that is the trade-off. Depending on how much you whack your feet into things, you might prefer one over the other. The women's also don't get the vibram sole, which is a little beefier. The sole is still thick, with good tread and low slip features.Stock laces are up to the task and it's very easy to get a strong, yet comfortable fit, working them up the loops. These boots are a solid choice if you don't need waterproofness, plan on wearing boots all day and want a comfortable and light fit right out of the box.Material and build quality are very high, right up there with some of the best hiking and mountaineering boots I've worn.

Overall Comfortable, But...
I picked these up for my wife to have for when we're out and about with the kids, working in the yard, or just in case we have that type of emergency wherein we need to be a bit more tactical. Overall, she likes them. The quality of the boot is really good. The design, stitching and overall aesthetic is very forth coming, and she likes how they flow with the attire she pairs them with. Though they are a bit pricey, she did find them comfortable for the most part (thought needed to put for a bit of effort to get them on). They have great support/cushion in the inner sole and feel supportive in her ankle. Her only concern is that she has a pretty high arch, and felt that putting on the boot and wearing for a while will take some getting used to for others that share in having high arches. The arch design of the boot gives more of a snug fit that she's not used to (when compared to other shoes like her flats, sneakers, wedges, etc.). As a result, she felt there was more pressure getting placed onto her arch and extended use may result in a blister for her.Overall, she recommends the boot, but feels consideration should be given to one's arch to ensure long-lasting comfort.

Difficult to get on, heavy weight
My daughter used to be an EMT and selected these because they are similar to what she wore daily. These are well-made, good quality, good stitching, with good padding and thick soles. Downside: a nuisance to get on. They have to be fully opened, untied all the way down to get and then take off. She said have to fully open them down to the heel to get them on and then reverse the long process felt claustrophobic and found it irritating. She said she will only wear for hunting or a hike but not on a regular basis. Sizing is accurate. Boots are also very heavy, not lightweight as stated.
