Yep you read it right. Wanted a summer boot for tree work. These aren’t only light they are comfortable and grip well for climbing and pruning. Haven’t worn gaffs with them yet. But will buy another pair. Did I also mention their customer service is top notch?

The side part ripped in the first week of use in the field (just walking around, nothing crazy). Garmont customer support did not respond to my message
The boot needed some breaking in so wear around the house loose fit for around 3 days. Also I had to jump a half size and go with a wide for a better fit.
These boots are very comfortable to me in my opinion! I ordered 2 pairs from here and they are still in perfect condition they do not loose comfort or the color in the boot ! Very good quality !
I don’t know why the person left one star. I’m on my third pair and I absolutely love these. I’m a former infantryman and paramilitary contractor so I know a good boot and these comfortable, very well made, the sole is thick and very high quality, they fit well, and are awesome when it comes to being submerged. The water escapes quickly and they dry fairly quick. I use these for working in my garage, hiking, yard work, and winter to walk around the snow instead of wearing a tennis shoe. No, they’re not the thick gortex boots but they’re good for being in cool weather. Just throw some thick socks on. I’ve had 5.11 boots, Blackhawk, Nike, and the issued ones. Those all were pretty much garbage when it came to durability, except for the issued ones. These are my go to boots. I just wish they made them in a sage green color still but they don’t anymore. These are light and comfortable for a long road march or anything you get yourself into. Order them.
