Review for Garonne Women's Diabetic Wide Width Adjustable Slippers with Memory Foam and Non-Slip Indoor Outdoor Sole (11, Black).These are soft on all sides. However, the sole didn't quite fit my foot correctly around the instep, so there was some foot discomfort at the instep when walking.The back of the foot and the top have hook/loop closures. The shoes are very adjustable. If you need something very, very adjustable (like after a foot injury, to accommodate swelling or bandages), then these shoes fit the bill.However, if you have mobility problems, these are the type of shoes that you need to raise your leg up in order to put on. The sides are too floppy to just slip your foot inside.The tongue is very, very long. It pushes inside when you try to put the shoe on without undoing the top flap. And the sides collapse when trying to put the shoe on without using your hands.The shoe is extra wide. I have an extra-wide foot, and these shoes were wider than my foot, even after adjusting both flaps on each shoe. And that never happens. This would be good for people whose feet swell a lot from edema.The heel area is also extra wide, even after adjusting the hook/loop flap closure.While I can see the uses for this shoe (especially with an indoor/outdoor sole for those with a lot of foot swelling), I am afraid that these shoes are not for me. The fit is too loose and floppy, even for my extra, extra-wide foot.The shoes do seem to be reasonably well-made, and I have no complaints there.

Very comfortable!

I was a little unsure about getting these. I do have some arthritis in my big toes and I have broken most of my toes and my ankles many times. I struggle constantly with trying to find something that I can wear that's comfortable and still looks good. I love the fact that you can just slip these on and off without having to use any buckles or snaps. I find them to be very comfortable and I'm sure over time after wearing them around the house they will mold a little bit more to my feet and how I walk. I used to wear flip-flops all the time, but those no longer are comfortable for me. I think that if you have issues such as I do or others, these are worth a shot at trying out for a decent price. Many of the shoes that I've looked at before that I wanted to feel like these would cost more than I was willing to put out. They don't feel too heavy which is good because the extra weight would hurt my toes. I like the width as well as it leaves room to wear socks. I also have issues with balance and often scared that I may roll my ankles with many shoes that I wear and I do not have that fear with these. I keep him by my front door and use them to walk around the house and go outside. I only wish I could wear them to work but they won't let me because it doesn't have an ankle strap. 😢
