These shoes worked out great for a vacation boating activity and while it rained several days I never had to worry about wet feet. These cost more in other parts of the country. They look great, feel comfortable and stay dry. Nonslip too!

Holding up well. Very comfortable. Great for walking around on a rainy day through mud puddles. I find myself throwing them on on dry days to go to store. Like rugged slippers. Feet get sweaty.... they are waterproof. Only gripe is the quality control. They have been durable so far, working outside bending, squatting, etc. however, right out the box you see the glue stains on the neoprene. Sole not glued on straight. I was worried that they were poorly made and wouldn’t last. But they have so far. I hope they figure out these manufacturing issues. I own two pairs. Will probably buy more when they give out.
If you are searching for an athletic, stylish ankle-boot that is water-proof, look no further. I am a part-time maintenance worker on a golf course. After spending a month with wet sneakers and impending trenchfoot from the morning dew, I researched heavily and decided to risk a significant amount ($100+) into a pair of Gator Waders.Within the first few hours of on the job with my new marine boots, my feet were in HEAVEN!! I've owned them for three weeks and they have held up wonderfully....and I put them through a lot each morning walking through morning dew, sand traps and other golf course hazards.In terms of fitment, Gator Waders only sells full sizes. Their website recommends in red bolded letters that if you are a half size, to order the size down. I would recommend AGAINST that advice. I am a solid size 9.5 in every brand of sneakers that I wear....except for Nike. I suspect my right foot has gotten a bit wider over the years. Knowing this, I went counter to the manufactures suggestion and selected a size 10. They fit PERFECTLY. In my case, going with a size 9 would have been a huge mistake and my feet (especially my right foot) would have been cramped. Use this advice at your own discretion when ordering.All in all, I enthusiastically recommend these ankle boots to anyone who works or has a hobby involving a wet environment. Face it, having wet feet for an extended period of time is unhealthy and just flat out stinks. Research every other brand like I did and you'll keep coming back to Gator Waders. Spend the extra money because in the long run, your feet will thank you!
I wear this type of deck shoe almost every day, it's wet and humid in the winter then in the summer it's hot and humid and it rains almost every afternoon, I thought since I live by a cypress swamp I'll try these Gator Waders. Not having that annoying pull strap on the front were the cuff of your pants always gets hung up and water gets in the your shoe is a real plus! Great price for Gator Waders and fast shipping.
Initially I ordered the HUK shoe in size 11. It did not fit me comfortably feeling tight in the toe area. After I returned those, I ordered these Gator Waders in the same size 11 and for me a much roomier comfortable fit. Also, this shoe is way more stylish than the other competitors rubber shoes. Very pleased!
I saw these boots while watching 336 mud mafia on YouTube, I liked the way they look so I did more research. They are super comfortable and you can’t mess them up. I’ve had mine in red mud for hours at a bon fire party and they kept my feet nice and dry in the mud. They don’t go much past my ankles so don’t get in too deep but I would buy them again for sure.
