Stylish, bold, unique, comfy shoes.

Picked up these shoes for my son (8 y/o). My son is very rough... on everything. He wears out several pairs of shoes per year. I don't remember him ever outgrowing shoes, only wearing them out. However these shoes have lasted nearly 6 weeks now, and that is a long time for this type of shoe. They are very comfortable, fit as expected, stylish, and have bright bold color options. The plastic lace keepers, the spring- tensioned plastic doohickey that holds the laces tight in lieu of tying them, only lasted about a week ,but that is par for the course for my son. They are still wearable, but now he has to tie them every time he puts them instead of using the keepers. Finally and most importantly of all, my son loves them. They are an excellent value, and I highly recommend them

Cute for the playground

These sneakers are very cheaply made. They’re fine as play shoes or something for the playground, but I don’t see them holding up long-term. The main issue is the bungee-style shoelace replacement—it has that plastic pull tab to tighten the shoe, but it doesn’t really tighten anything. And once you pull it, you’re left with strings that are too short to tie but long enough to flop around and be noticeable.The sizing is true to size, and they fit my son nicely. They’re easy to slip on and they are cute, but the shoelace setup just isn’t my favorite.
