One of the most comfortable soles I've worn
They weren't lying when they said gentle soles, or souls lol. This must be one of the most comfortable walking experiences I've had. They put attention into every detail about it, like how the bottom of the shoe is slightly angled which gives you a little boost in walking and the cushioning.The heel is a bit iffy, I don't exactly love the foam on the back of the heel and I can feel it whenever I slip it on, you do start to zone it out after walking but I wish it just has a thicker heel all together. Also it's a PAIN to put on, maybe it's because I usually always wear casual joggers but it's a whole workout putting these on. This is even a .t size bigger so I couldn't imagine putting it on my regular 10' size. I almost feel like imma break the shoe. There's absolutely no stretch except for the lip you can pull. After I got it on, it fits great, again I'm a 10', usually I'll go to a 10.5 and this does fit like a 10.5 when wearing it, the heel stays in place and the sides fit snug to my feet. The whole comfort level is a 10/10, again after you have it on because putting it on is a workout.The shoe looks visually appealing and is made of high quality pure suede leather which gives it a nice natural smell and feel to it, almost feels thin but thick at the same time. Keeps my feet very warm with still allowing some airflow through the ankle and the top mesh-part of the top and sides. The rubber soles are great and sturdy and feels like it will last. The inside cushion is amazing. Again I don't like the big orange heel part on the inside, also why is it orange on top of that?? Color is true to picture, the black is a mate type of color with brown accents which I didn't like in the pictures but in person I did start to grow on it.I would mostly wear these for casual use, not much activity, walking maybe at most. I love how they look fashionable and modern while being made of high quality leather, while also having jogger capabilities. If I had the option I would change the orange foam on the inside and make it so the heel had some stretch to it to fit on more easily.

I can't tell if Gentle Souls is a premium or cheap Kenneth Cole brand. The shoes seem to have a premium look but fall short in some areas. For example, my shoe came with a sticker pointing out a small defect on the outer arch. This is the first time I've seen such a sticker, which indicates that someone found the defect but later they didn't bother to double-check it. Honestly, if it wasn't for that sticker, I wouldn't have noticed the defect.That's not why I dislike the shoe, though. They added a cushion right behind the heel, which feels weird and pulls down my socks, so I can't wear no-show socks with these shoes. They do feel comfortable, but they fit larger than usual, which is probably why the cushion isn't doing me any favors. I was expecting more than a pair of shoes trying too hard to provide comfort, but instead, they ended up being uncomfortable for me. Sadly this design choice ruined my first impression.
