This is one of the newest boot designs from Georgia Boots.slightly thicker bottom sole with an improved tread pattern and more durable bottom. Great boots , I usually wear Danner boots which are about 250$So these are about 100$ cheaper than my Danner Boots. Hope this helpsAlso if you have a wide foot, make sure you order the w size( wide) and that makes a big difference in comfortHope this was helpful
