First off, the boots are too large for my feet even at a size 8M, and since that is the smallest size made I will have to find something else. The quality of these boots is what you would expect from Georgia Boot, thick leather and great stitching. The AMP insole in these boots is extremely comfortable. If they fit you then get them.
Fits like a glove,nice and snug but not super tight. The very literal word of "heavy duty", these boots have some actual weight.
I run heavy equipment and I’m always in and out of the machine and I always try to keep my feet clean because of not getting my machine dirty on the inside and I haven’t had these boots but 34 days and the soul has already cracked on them just after the 30 day return policy is when they tore up I am highly upset and now I cannot return them. I recommend if you get these boots that you get them and you break them in immediately and make sure to inspect the soul really good because it will crack. I would really either want you to send me a new pair of boots or make this right the point is you guys strive off your customer reviews? Well this is the one that’s probably gonna get overlooked but needs to be the number one you guys supposedly stand by your product so let’s see if you stand by your product and replace your boots.
Nice boot. Comfortable, theyve held up all summer, only complaint is the waterproofing wasnt very good. They get wet pretty quick. Even just walking through the wet grass in mornings they end up not damp but soaked to the point of needing the boot dryer at the end of the day. It seems even after I mink oil them it only lasts a couple days and theyre pulling in water again.
Best boots ever , I have been wearing geo boots for 25 yes now and have never been disappointed, got 9 yrs out of my last pair
First I want to talk about my first impressions from my first day using these. The best thing about these is that they are lightweight and extremely comfortable. Second they had almost no break in period, which for work boots is awesome. Additionally for context I work park maintenance for a state park in the mountains of Colorado where I can hike and work back country all day.However, this is really where the pros stop and the issues with this boot come into focus. In the first two days I lost a few of the lace hooks, which while annoying didn’t really affect the function of the boot and was an easy fix. The second issue is the at parts of the boot are cracking mostly on the upper part of the outsole that came feeling dry rotted. As I researched these boots before writing this review I found that they had previous issues with the quality control of this model where the sole would come off. They fixed this by putting a rubber outer on the heel which I reaped but they still failed on the other aforementioned pieces. Additionally I’ve only had these for a week so the info might change after I finish my contract so updates might come.Lastly I want to mention why I bought these knowing about the qc issues. I got them used but never worn for 70$ and I thought I could take them to a cobbler to replace and fix the broken pieces, so; in terms of value for money, personally I am happy as even after repairs and sole replacements I'll still be up a bit compared to buying them new. Would I pay full price for this? HELL NO!TLDR: Issues with quality within a week of purchase. Repairs done works fine. Pretty comfy
