Comfortable right out of the box
I'm a thorogood guy but wanted somthing light with internal metatarsal guards. This boot has soft metatarsal guards that harden on impact. If the tag wasn't there you wouldn't be able to tell they were metatarsal boots. Great buy, hopefully they'll hold up a few years.

Georgia Heritage work boot
I have been wearing these boots for about 3 months. This is the first metatarsal boot I have ever worn. These boots didn't require any break-in and fit great. They are a little heavy but I got use to that. Great boot at a great price.

Great choice after much research
I spent many hours reviewing features and other feedback before buying these. I've been wearing them now for over a month. I experienced no discomfort during break in, and are very comfortably worn every day. They have both a steel toe and steel shank which is not always readily clear in the product descitions I read. They are exactly the what I sought with the features I desired.

These bunion makers have proprietary insoles
These bunion makers have proprietary insoles. I'm extremely disappointed in Georgia Boot. These are supposed to be wide width. They are very narrow and the toe box is small and killing my feet. It's difficult making it through an entire shift with these on. The insoles have almost no arch support, just a little bit of foam. No worries, I'll just use some after market insoles with some arch support...WRONG! The insoles on these bunion makers is proprietary! There is a 1 inch HOLE in the heel where the poorly made foam insoles fit. The boots are too snug to fit another insole on top of the stock insole, so I'm stuck until I can MacGyver some hybrid old insole heel to fill the hole with a usable insole that doesn't give me plantar fasciitis. In a nutshell, these boots SUCK. Georgia boots should be better than this. Zero Stars!!Update: The laces broke on both boots same day, in the same place after just a couple of months use...waiting on a different brand of boot so I can burn these in a fire.

Great boots from a great seller.
These boots take a day or two but break in really well. They are a bit heavy but I like that about them and my feet never get tired or sore after 8 to 10 hrs on concrete.

This was my first time wearing Georgia, switching from many years of wearing Wolverine. I needed new boots and I decided to give these a try because of the great reviews. I absolutely love the fit and comfort of this boot... except for the steel toe box! The steel toe box is too small and dug into the sides of my feet, painful. I don't have wide feet and I cannot go to next size up to make the toe box fit because then my feet would swim around in them. If the steel toe box width could be addressed these work boots would be 10's in my opinion.
