My goodness, what boots!
Ok, I don’t usually gush about a product like a pre-pubescent schoolboy, but holy mother of goodness these boots are manly! As soon as I pulled them out the box, one at a time because they are freaking heavy, I felt my beard start growing. They looked awesome and the quality appears to be top notch. When I put them on and laced them up, my beard fully formed, my voice lowered an octave or two (I’m 62 by the way) and my man package grew substantially, which pleased my wife to no end!I feel like I got my Man Card back after years of decline. I stood up after putting these on and finally understood how tall people feel. I felt my confidence grow and was tempted to start approaching tall, beautiful women, but my wife quickly reminded me the boots might be amazing, but they can’t perform miracles.I bought these particular boots because they are made in America. I needed a pair of logging boots to wear to protect my feet while clearing my land of downed trees, brush, and to fell a few trees here and there. I bought these because they got good reviews, are made in America, and the value for the money couldn’t be beat. I looked at Redwing, Whites, JKs and a few other PNW boot companies, but I couldn’t justify the premium price tag for just working my property.Being all leather, they will take some breaking in, but after only one day of wearing them around, they have already loosened up a bit and feel better. I need to get used to the high heels as it’s been years since I’ve worn a logging/lineman type boot. I almost feel like a new born colt trying to get my legs under me. The size I chose seems to be perfect for me (men’s 9 normal width) and true to size. I got the waterproof, but non-insulated boots because I will mostly be wearing these in the spring/summer months. For durability, that is a question for later as I just got these. For the price, quality, and knowledge they are made in America, I can recommend you give them a try.
