Buckle falls off

The “adjustable buckle” actually is a buckle that is not attached to the shoe strap at all. It literally slides right off the end of the strap. So if you were buying these for a child who needs to wear them for a ballroom class and has to put them on by herself, or wear them for dance conventions, this is not the pair for you, as she will lose that buckle in a heartbeat. It literally falls off the strap the minute you try to put the shoes on. Awful design. Not only that, but these run much smaller than the size chart states. I followed the size chart included in the product photos and got my child a 3 1/2, which should have given her room to grow because she has an 8.5 inch long foot. And according to the chart a 3 1/2 size shoe should’ve fit up to 8.86 inch long foot. She could not even get her foot inside of the toe portion because it was so narrow and she doesn’t even have wide feet. By the time she was able to shove her foot into the toe portion, her toes were curled up and hanging over the edges. I would buy at least one size up based on their size chart.
