Accurate size and great shoe

Great shoes if you are looking for durable gavel/ mountain bike shoes. The size is accurate and these reviews do not give accurate reviews. 44 in uk is 10.5 us size and it fits just like any other shoe I own. Other than that it is a very sturdy shoe with a nice look. Great price as well.

They Run Small

I wanted to like these shoes more than I did, but I don’t think the size was quite right for me. I’m normally a 10 1/2 and I tried both the 10 1/2 and the 11s and they were still too tight in the tow box. Otherwise the build quality of them was clearly exceptional, fit was just too small.

Good value

So far so good. Ordered 1 size up and it fit well. A little heavier than expected.

Comfortable cycling shoe for wide feet

After a couple of rides I like the shoes. I ride without cleats and appreciate the firm sole. My feet are not sore after a long ride when I used running shoes.Update for those with wide feet - these shoes fit well. No pinching, no painful pressure points.

SPD compatible protection for your piggies.

I am retired and an avid cyclist with 3 bikes that I use on the road, trails, and for overnight camping trips. I was looking for a pair of SPD compatible shoes without deeply lugged soles when I stumbled on a very good deal for these shoes.First off, believe every review that states how heavy these are. They are by far the heaviest cycling shoes I've ever owned. However, this is because of their bombproof construction which makes them well suited for their intended use in downhill and enduro. The soles are broad which provides a good pedaling platform. The cleat position also provides for comfortable pedaling. The shoes themselves are large in their outer dimensions as well. I have the black shoes with gray soles, and they put me in mind of Doc Martens or a service shoe. For being so large outwardly, the fit is a little snug. I ordered EU size 48 which is my usual size in cycling shoes. They are comfortable with cycling socks, but I don't think they'll work with thicker ones. The shoes are very well padded, and the uppers are quite thick. This causes me some concern for hot weather riding, but there are liberal perforations, and other reviewers have felt they breathe well. The strap to go over the laces is quite thick and the Velcro very grippy which can snag the laces. This may take some getting used to but is in line with the heavy-duty construction of these shoes. Though the soles are very stiff and difficult to flex by hand, they are quite walkable. My overall impression is that these are very good shoes. I took one star off only because they are overkill for my intended use. However, with the deal I got on them I have no regrets and would buy again.
