I LOVED these shoes. I’m a true women’s size 9 and a 42 fits me perfect! I don’t find that the tongue rubs my feet nor do these shoes make my feet numb which is what happened with the precious cycle shoes I had (they were too narrow and constricting). They’re a beautiful black and I found comfy. I’ll be replacing the soles as I found them to be mediocre and flimsy. But I would recommend.
After reading the reviews I was very paranoid about the sizing on these, but was excited to receive them and have them fit like a glove. I am a size 8 and got the 40, fits perfectly. I have pretty narrow feet so I like that these are relatively narrow and hug my feet nicely. I recommend going to the Giro website and referencing their size chart - that is what I did and the result was spot on. I got the gray and blue, they're super cute (I wanted to stray from basic black but not too crazy) and they are very comfortable! Havent experienced any clip movement
I love these shoes and definitely say that you need to go up in size. I actually went up one full size and they fit perfectly. The only thing I don't like is the tongue is so long and rubs up against my ankles. I don't wear high socks so to resolve this, I am just tucking the tongue in under the high strap and I may end up cutting them off eventually.
I love these shoes. I purchased one pair 3-4 years ago and have loved them. My wife recently got into cycling so I got her a pair as well and she has lived hers as well. They do run a bit small though. Both my wife and I had to get one full size larger than we normally would wear for everyday use. They have held up well over the years though and have verily little sign of use on them even though mine have done about 2,000 miles over the past few years. I do think the black ones hide road grime better than the gray ones but they grays look really sharp.They are comfortable and I have never had my feet go numb in them even after several 100 mile rides.
This is my first pair of cycle shoes. Let me tell you these are great! I typically wear a women size 9 and do a 9.5 for any type of work out/walking shoes. The 42 fit perfect and was not too tight. These complete changes how I ride and so glad I spent the money on them!
The shoes feel absolutely great and are comfortable. I would recommend ordering a size up though. My wife wears a size 9 US so I ordered a 41 but it was a bit too tight. That is a common problem with cycling shoes though.
I also always a 36 in sizing. I ordered a 36 and 37 just to be sure since I read to size up. Having to return both for larger sizes. 38-39? But I’m not sure I’m going to because for these returns, I’m charged over $5 for each return. Otherwise, looks like a nice cycling shoe. So the stars are for product quality, but not ease of trying on.
