I usually do not give a review until I have had the product for some time but this is my 2nd purchase of these slipper. They are durable and very comfortable. Well worth the price.
I picked these up for my Dad. He has arthritis in his knees from years breaking boards with flying and spinning kicks in his Tae Known Do classes. He also has diabetes. I felt that these might help him around the house, so I had a pair sent to him. Days later I asked him to give me run down on the slippers and here is his feedback:1. He feel that the slippers are quite comfortable and breathable. His feel did not feel hot nor sweaty as he wore them all day in the house.2. From the little use, he felt that they did help with blood circulation in his legs and he also feels less pressure and soreness to his knee and lower leg than with them off. He said that it was easier to walk while wearing them.3. They fit true to size; the Velcro closure help make that possible.4.Even though the 10mm memory foam does offer decent heel support, he would have liked to have more thickness overall.5. They do not cause any slippage around they house, so the non-skid soles are effective.6. They appear durable but he has only had them a short time. He says that they look like they are constructed well.7. He feels that the price point is somewhat high and feels that it should be around $20-30 price range.8. He is looking forward to their continued use to truly measure their long-term effectiveness in helping people with diabetic/arthritic pain related issues.
Product is good if your size is 9 take the size 8 they run bigger.
I got these for my diabetic father, who has naturally wide feet, but his feet aren't at all swollen. It's just important that he not have anything restricting the circulation in his feet. The way the slipper fastens on the top allows for some flexibility as to the fit in the upper part of the foot, but the sole itself is too narrow. In all fairness to the manufacturer, I probably should have been able to see that from the photo they provided of the slipper bottom--they clearly have long and narrow dimensions--but the slippers were billed as being wide, and specifically good for diabetics or people with swollen feet, so I bought them. The length of the slipper was more than adequate, but the insufficient width made these unwearable for him.
Extremely comfortable slippers
These were to be DELIVERED by Saturday, May 4, 2024.The seller did not even ship them until Wednesday, May 6, 2024. (Strike one)When these slippers finally did arrive, they were a bit narrow, but I could have tolerated that. The length, however, seemed to be at least one size, perhaps two sizes too short. (Strike two - they're out! This ain't a baseball game and I don't give any business three chances to get it right)One of the worst transactions I have ever had through all the years of shopping with Amazon. The quality of construction of these slippers are far below even "bargain basement" merchandise I've examined, and they are very short in length. I normally take a 13 shoe and these were supposed to be a 14.Requested full refund and ordered an entirely different brand.I will NEVER buy another item from 'Git-Up'. Ever.I'm a very disappointed consumer and prefer to let a company that has integrity and quality products have my money instead of a company such as Git-Up.
