After trying several pairs of slippers for my elderly diabetic mother with neuropathy, these are the winner! She complained that the others were too big, too narrow, not enough cushioning in the sole or slipping hazards but we finally found ones she loves.
I've been wearing these slip ons since I received them about 2 weeks ago and I really like them. I wanted a non-fuzzy shoe to wear around the house during the warmer months and these definitely are that. My only complaint is that the velcro doesn't secure tight enough for my foot (I wear a 6 and have a narrow foot) but they still stay on relatively well. The sizing seems to be correct, maybe a little big, but not uncomfortably so. The cork footbed is also very comfortable and hasn't caused any pain at all. This is a great slipper/slip-on house shoe.
Decent shoe for the price. I measured my foot and it was still too small. Reordering for a larger size.
This review is for the Git-up Womens Cork Footbed Slippers - Anytime you purchase shoes online for the first time, you're taking a chance. So I took a chance with these slippers and this time, it paid off. I have very swollen feet, especially by the end of the day of which is when the pictures were taken. I cannot believe how comfortable these shoes/slippers are or that they actually fit my swollen feet. The Plantar Fasciitis had been kicking in after I wore a pair of shoes that didn't have the support I needed and that heel pain is very painful! I have been wearing these shoes/slippers now for several days and the pain has almost completely gone away. I will absolutely recommend these shoes/slippers. I can't speak on the longevity just yet but if they start to fall apart in less than 6 months, I will be back with an update. As for the sizing - these are true to size. My foot is a 5 to 5.5, but I can never find shoes that small and wide so I always have to go to a 6 or 6.5. These are a size 6 and they are just a little too big, but I am ok with that. It's negligible. If you have a very narrow foot these might be a little loose on you, however, there is velcro and so you can tailor the fit! I love that these have velcro because my right foot swells more than my left and I can adjust individually. I wore them out and they look like regular slip ons. I will be purchasing me another pair because I don't like using my house shoes outside and I could wear these every day, all day.
Even though these are meant to be open-toed to be worn as slip-ons without socks, I feel like these are more comfortable with socks on. The material on the black flap over your foot is a little scratchy and is sometimes a little bothersome. I do like though how the tightness is adjustable to make sure that they don't slip off (especially if you're going up and down stairs frequently). Overall, they have decent support, and I can see these holding up a long time. The cork material etc. seems very durable thus far and not too prone to wear out easily.
These slippers are true to size and great for anyone experiencing swollen feet or needing extra room on top. The adjustable Velcro strap makes it easy to customize the fit, which is helpful for comfort and foot conditions like plantar fasciitis.The downside is the cork footbed, which is too hard for long periods of walking and you can really feel the firmness with little cushioning. They’re only comfortable with socks on and not barefoot. As you get older, a footbed that’s softer and molds to your feet is essential, and unfortunately, this one doesn’t provide that level of comfort. I cannot recommend.
These slippers have great arch support. They were comfortable to wear while working all day long. Most slippers have minimal arch support and your feet would be in pain after a while. But these felt good even after a full day. Normally, you wouldnt wear slippers outdoors, but these look nice, just like normal sandals. The fabric felt nice and the slippers had adequate traction undernearth. These are the rare slippers you can wear outside the house.
