_UPDATE: 3/'24Made it two years+ and the soles and main shoe leather are still in good condition for being worn daily around the home inside and out as mention previously. The soles actually show little wear for walking on wood floors, concrete walkways, the old worn out rough concrete garage floor, grass, and dirt etc daily!My feet sweat and that's caused the inner liner to come unglued. If I can find some sole inserts that are thin, I could likely still get another 3-5 years wear easy! But it's time to get another pair rather than put the time in refurbishing the insides. They're inexpensive enough they're not worth the effort to reman IMO.That said, they don't happen to have the pair I originally bought available in my size right now, so I'll wait a bit to see if their restocked. In the mean time I'll look for something else as I have no patience these days. When I want something, I want it now. So there you have it! Two years+ at $20/year? ...can't complain in today's economy! Do the math and that's cheaper then the local discount shoe store for plastic crap that won't last a summer.YMMV, but I've done the expensive Italian loafers and American/European shoes, and again I say, these are well worth the money IMO for someone like me who just wore them literally everyday and abused them... for two+ years!!! I use them as house shoes/slippers when I come in as I'm a boot man outside the house for daily wear. These are very comfortable around the house and keep my feet from being cold in the winter and don't sweet in the summer.Easy on and off which is great! Sole is good to step out on a damp deck if necessary without worry, but I wouldn't step out if it's raining and the deck or sidewalk has standing water on it because the sole is only about a 1/4 inch thick. Doesn't leave much for standing water. These "are" leather so you don't want to get them wet.If you're a loafer type and want a pair that don't rub on your heal for daily wear, these are a good choice IMO. Even though I use them for house slippers they're very good quality construction for the money compared to what's out there these days. Not sure how durable they are for daily wear, but for the money if you get a year out of them I'd say that's pretty good.I've had them since Aug '21, wear them daily around the house morning and evening as well as generally all day on weekends in winter because I try not to go out any more than I have to with a foot or more snow and temps in the low 20's or worse. In summer I wear them outside around the house most sunny days if the ground isn't wet or muddy. Figure I'll get 3 or more years out of them. For $40, that's unheard of these days!

This was my second or third time purchasing these. They are comfortable and I use them as house slippers because the typical men's house shoes (even the good name brand ones) the soles would wear out eventually. These really hold up and are good for around the house and even a quick trip to the store.
