Good looking shoe
I have a pretty average foot (not too wide with an ok arch) and I typically wear a 10.5 in ASICS running shoes or a 10 in most dress shoes and I got the size 11 in these which is a good fit for me.This is my 4th pair of GOLAs over the past several years. So obviously I like them and like the way they look and this pair is no different.But understand you buy them for their look, not for their comfort.They’re not uncomfortable but they also aren’t made for one to be running marathons in either.Think their well made for their purpose and have held up well for me.

Size, color construction impressions (not worn yet)
I wear a 10.5, based on the reviews here I ordered up, to an 11, but this made the shoe too big. Maybe if you wear very thick socks it would be OK. Also, the color of the Yellow is not a bright taxicab/canary yellow as shown in the photo, it is more like a dusky beige-yellow. The shoes are lightweight but the upper does have a thin layer of padding on the inside, which will make them less breathable I think versus just canvas. So I might have to wear liner socks with them instead of going sockless. Like a lot of sneakers of this type, the insole is very soft and together with the thinnish sole does not provide a ton of support, so plan to use a heel cup/insert/replacement insole if you plan on doing a lot of walking. The insole is better than most - cushioned and faced with the same canvas as the upper - and appears to be glued in over a thin layer of rearfoot foam. Returning and ordered smaller/dif. color replacement (which is coming all the way from the UK!)

Buying shoes online is always a gamble. I purchased size 12 knowing sometimes I take a 12.5 and even a 13 in some brands. The 12 was perfect, so I'd say this model runs large. The canvas is very rugged and thick, the shoes are lined and padded too. There isn't much arch support, but the insoles are padded and soft. With a pair of short socks they look great for summer. I'll be getting another pair, in another color.
