"Sunshine, daisies, butter mellow..." Golas are my new favorite shoe!
I've worn out my Samba shoes and wanted to find a new pair of shoes. After doing some light research online for comparable brands and styles, the Gola brand caught my eye. This particular yellow is my favorite - it reminds me of marigolds, sunflowers, sunshine, egg yolks, and happiness.I like how bold the color is and the shoe itself is so, so comfortable. I walked my dog while wearing these shoes and I didn't feel there was a need to "break them in", which was the case with my beloved classic Samba.Size is just right! I went with Amazon's suggested size based on prior buyers and they are perfect.I'm taking these shoes to Italy over the next two weeks and I cannot wait to pair them with my outfits. They look great with dresses, providing a sharp juxtaposition to the feminine style. They also look great with neutral clothing, which allows the color to truly pop.I'm very happy with my purchase.

Beautiful Sneaker (but size down when ordering)
I absolutely love these sneakers! There are gorgeous, well made, and very comfortable. The only thing to note is that they run large. I am a women’s size 8, and they were too big for me. Apparently others have mentioned this as well. I returned them for a size 7 which fits perfectly, so be sure to size down.

Painful tongue
I’d like to give this 3.5 stars. Love the look of these, but a big issue is that the tongue is very hard and too long, so after a few hours of walking and wearing it started to dig into the front of my ankle in a very painful way. I ended up having to take a sharp pair of scissors to the tongue and trimming it down. It doesn’t look bad, but it’s a bit ridiculous to have to modify a pair of shoes in this way, I would have returned them if the problem had been evident before I went outside in them.

Just what i was looking for
For months I had been searching for the perfect red shoes. I order several and none of them were right - they were either cute but uncomfortable, or comfortable but there was some other issues with it, or they were super expensive, or not the right shade of red I was looking for, etc. Finally, I came across these and I'm so happy with them! First of all, the color is perfect - it's exactly the shade of red I wanted - it's a beautiful shade of red without being obnoxiously bright, and I love the soft pink accents (some other shoes I looked at had bright white accents which I felt was too much; these feel more subtle and help neutralize the red a bit). These shoes are also super comfortable! I was so happy when I put them on and discovered not only are they cute, but also comfy. I'm between a size 7-7.5 and I ordered a 7 and they fit just fine.
