You can’t beat this boot for the price.
My first pair of Golden Fox moc toes. I went a half size smaller and they fit perfect. Leaves enough room for some thicker socks if you wear them. First impression out of the box they look bad ass. I immediately put them on at work when I got them and as soon as I walked out the office I started getting compliments. Felt great for wearing them on the first day and I know they will soften up more as I I continue to wear them. For $75 bucks you cannot beat this quality and price. Great style especially with some dark jeans. Can be worn out to the bar or anywhere a casual boot is needed. Great for work which is what I needed. I highly recommend. I’ll update this review after I have worn them for awhile. Hoping the quality is good and they hold up. If they do then I will continue to purchase this brand.11/28/18 boots are holding up well. I wear them every day. Have received more compliments with these boots than anything else I’ve ever worn. Very comfortable. They did have a little breaking in to do but only about a week or so. Love these. Highly recommend. Will purchase again.

The boot is made of a very high quality full grain leather. The stiching appears very sturdy. They look great with jeans. Break in takssome time as they are kind of stiff at first. Once broken in they are really comfortable. I rate them a 5 for overall value and looks. I bought them for casual wear, not work. However, I anticipate they will hold up well. After 21 years in the military, I've worn a lot of boots. These are high quality. Remember though, they are $80ish. They are not $150. Keep that in perspective. I ordered one full size smaller than what I would wear in a tennis shoe. I also wear boot socks with them, and it's a perfect fit. Good boot, great value.

I just got my golden fox boots in today. I love them they are very nice boots and out of the box comfy. The leather will require some break in but that's fine because the boots are great quality as far as I can tell. The wedge soles are firm but have plenty of toe room and support but I'm flat footed and don't require arch support so these are perfect for me. The reason for four stars is the tongue. The tongue is padded and looks and feels great but simply isn't wide enough. I will posts pics in a while when I get ready but once tied the tongue doesn't cover the entire front part of my foot it is a little annoying but manageable. I am happy with my boots.Edit 3-7-2017I have now wore these boots for a full month and I have bought myself some sof sole memory foam insoles and I like the boots. The tongue did take some getting used to. On the sides of the tongue where they connect it to the two sides of the boot there seems to be an excess of leather or material or maybe it's just too thick? But either way more used to the tongue and it doesn't hurt at all but during my first couple of weeks the tongue did hurt my foot if I tied them too tight. I have since oiled the boots twice in the past month and I will say the leather acts much differently than most boots I have owned. These boots get so much softer and nicer with each oil I am very happy with my purchase my only complaint is how the tongue could have been wider and solved some the problems associated with it.

Great looking boots, but....***updated!***
Opening the box, I liked the looks of the boots. The quality of leather and the stitching was better than I expected.Trying them on, the fit was as-expected both length and width. The right boot went on great, cinching the laces down tight. The left boot, not so much. Once the laces were cinched down the seam were the upper tongue connects to the lower portion of the tongue and boot rubs significantly on the top of my foot. My thoughts were, they're new boots. They'll need a little broke in and they'll be fine. Well, after 2 weeks, if I dont leave the laces very loose, I can't walk in them.I'm still going to keep hammering on them to try and break them down, but hopes are not high.I'll write another review in another month or two and let you folks know how they turn out.***Update 1/16/19***Well, folks. The boots turned out great! I did take a rubber mallet and rounded head screwdriver and hammered down the ridge on the left boot that was bothering me. Now the boots feel great after the break-in period. They cinch down tight and hug my foot like a perfectly cooked brat nestled into a sesame seed bun. They feel great! Great boots at a great price. Recommended!
