Great boot for the money. **SEE UPDATE**
To me, this is one of the best work boots I’ve worn. I work in the cryogenic industry so I’m constantly walking around slippery areas, rough terrain, in and out of a truck, etc. Finding a comfortable boot that looks good and wont tear my feet up is always hard. This boots felt like I was wearing tennis shoes right out of the box. They are stylish and seem durable. I may post an update in a few months to see how they are holding up.**UPDATE**After 5 months of use, the boot is still holding up good. I use this boot for work 5 days a week, between 12 and 14 hours in all sorts of extreme weather. So far they have withstood extreme cold temperatures for short periods of time after been in contact with cryogenic liquids, they have kept my feet warm during winter and cool during summer. I really have no complaints and I’ve got many compliments on their look. I just ordered another pair in black, since it’s a good habit to replace work boots about every 6 months. I highly recommend them!

“Most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn”
I bought these boots for my husband about a year and half ago. He’s a metal fabricator and is always on his feet so I was skeptical on what boot to buy for him. Even in the condition the old ones were in he continued to say they are the most comfortable shoe he has ever worn so of course I bought him another pair and will continue to do so!!Highly recommendedIt’s a plus that they come with a wide foot option.

I really wanted these to work
These boots were my second Golden Fox purchase. I also have the Boondockers and I love them. Regarding these steel toe work boots, first off I want to say that as far as build quality and quality of materials goes, these appear to be 5 star boots. Sadly, they did not fit me right so they will not work for me. I'm typically a size 13 and as far as length goes these were okay, but I found my toe rubbing against the steel toe box which was uncomfortable around the house and would have been unbearable after a few hours on a job. If they had a 13 wide or a size 14 I think I could just get a bigger size and be okay but unfortunately 13 regular is the biggest size they offer at the moment and it is too small for me. My assessment is that these run narrower than other boots I have worn. I am truly impressed by the quality of the leather. They are nice boots, especially at the price point at which they sell. They seem very sturdy. I will be returning them since they don't fit me right. If they add wide sizes or a size 14 in the future I'd be willing to try them again.

Badass pair of wedges
So I just got done putting my first 8hrs on these boots. Normally I would wait a week or two until broken in but these are so comfortable that they feel like they have no break in. That's a huge plus because they will only get more comfortable as I wear them. One thing I have to bring up is that the wedge isn't as tough as others I have experienced because the way I kneel while welding in certain positions has caused the front toe area of wedge to already start wearing down. If you are buying wedges though you already are going into this choosing comfort over durability so I definitely wasn't surprised after I got home today and inspected them. I am known to destroy the toes of my work boots well before anything else gives out though so take that into consideration. I have tried to change my stance while in that position but being comfortable and confident while welding is extremely important if you want to keep your job as I am sure many of you reading this are aware. So for now I am fine with ruining my boots a little faster than most people do if it helps me perform that much better. Since it is so early I will update this a few months down the road if I happen to remember. As of now I would recommend if you are looking for a lightweight, breathable and extremely comfortable boot as long as you know these will wear faster being a wedge. They are the only style boots I will wear considering my back and feet end up in much better shape at the end of the day/week. Taking care of my body is more important than saving a little money each year so the trade off is a no brainer for me.

Good boots
This is my 2nd time buying these boots. The first ones I thought were good quality already but it looks like they made them even better. My recent pair I noticed came in a nicer packaged box, the color is a nicer brown (my first pair looked almost purple) the tongue is padded on my newer pair the first pair didn't have any padding. And the threads are actually white on these my last pair the threads were purple when new. Now that the tongue is padded it doesn't leave much slack on the laces to tie so I do think the laces could be like an inch or so longer but oh well

Little big , overall great, eh
Somewhat big , right boot seems bigger than the left , great looking boot but leather seems syntheticish(made in China) compared to my American made danners , feel comfortable and don’t think I’ll need a break in Period like my danners and Georgia boots required , will see3 month updateBoots are holding up , been raining in California and feel a little damp inside , one huge defect that makes my right Boot unwearable is the metal eyelet that sticks out inside the boot, once I tie my right boot it digs into my foot , insane amount of pain , once I’m done with these I will no longer consider buying again
