I love these

Probably wouldn't stand up to everyday wear, but that's standard fare for Amazon stuff at these prices. It's an occasional kind of style for me anyway. I was happy to find a size big enough. I wear 10 or 10.5 in men's shoes, and the 11s in these *just* fit me. My toes touch the front, so I wouldn't want to walk 5 miles in these or anything, but they're perfectly comfortable enough for an evening. Unlike many women's boots, these have a wide, round toe, which to me looks way cuter, and probably helps them fit my men's feet. Love the way these look. And they're extremely lightweight too!

A Comprehensive Review (these boots are a mixed bag)

This review is a mixed bag.This review will cover Shipping, Shoe Fit, Calf Fit, Laces, Tongues, Warmth, Appearance1 - SHIPPING: These boots took FOREVER to leave the warehouse even though they had just come back in stock when I ordered. I believe it was over two full months from when I placed the order until they finally shipped. This is unacceptable, I ordered them so I would have boots for the winter and then had nothing to wear. The "arrive by" date kept changing so it's not like I EXPECTED a delay and could cancel and order other boots. This was badly handled.Even when I paid extra to have them expedited it did nothing to get the boots moving. And then I couldn't cancel the expedited shipping without cancelling the entire order, which I assumed would result in further delays. This was a big cost as I'm not in the US, thought amazon did refund me In the end after a LOT of talking with customer service.2 - SHOE SIZE FIT- THE FOOT: These are NOT true to size. I wear a women's 11.5-12, ordered an 11 because 12 wasn't an option, and when I first out them on they felt ok but as I spent just a few minutes walking I realized that the foot section itself is really too big to the point where my feet were shifting around and I started getting blisters. I suppose I could wear them with thicker socks than I did, but in either case, they were definitely sized large. Maybe someone accidentally put in male shoe sizes?It's also a shame because people with larger feet have trouble finding shoes like this and these would be a good option. TLDR: They RUN BIG.3 -CALF FIT- I have very large calves for a woman and was concerned that the calves of the boot would not be wide enough. The reviews were not so clear on the topic. When I first put the boots on, the calves seemed not to fit. In fact, it looked like with my calves the laces were not going to reach the top of the boot, and still tie them. Let alone draw the sides of the boot close enough to cover the tongue of the boots.I literally almost returned them for this reason, but because the foot seemed to fit, and I needed boots, I was toying with taking them to some kind of shoemaker to add a panel in back to make them wide enough. But in the end that was unnecessary. I laced the boots up excluding the last two pairs of holes and tied them shut, and within a minute the laces had adjusted to where I could pull them tighter, so I did...and had enough lace left to lace up to the top and just barely tie....in the end. The whole thing stretched enough to cover my large calves entirely and properly, and I was totally shocked. I'm thrilled. But it took like 10 minutes the first wear to get there. I wonder how this will hold up over time.4- THE LACES- they came improperly laced which is both useless and lazy. They were in every other later if holes so I had to redo the whole thing. Waste of time. And they looked misleadingly short, and wouldn't lace up initially, but worked fine in the end (see #3, calf fit.)4 - THE TONGUES- they could be a bit shorter, the length looks kind of stupid as they extend too far above the boot. As for tongue width, see #3, Calf fit....but the tldr is that while they DID eventually end up being wide enough, if they were a centimeter or two wider it would look better /be more reassuring for those of us with wide calves.5 - WARMTH- because they're plastic, with synthetic lining, they didn't particularly keep my feet super warm, but the faux leather (aka plastic) covering my legs definitely kept my body temp high. This is a plus or minus depending on the climate.6 - APPEARANCE- The boots are super cute, I kept looking down and my legs and feet and admiring them....the tongues are a bit wonkily long to the point where I even considered folding them down inside but they didn't stay, but I wore a skirt covering the top and probably would have worn them out anyway. Ultimately based on appearance, they get the job done, I think.

so comfy! they fit perfectly! wore them for a concert where i stood for 5 hours and my feet barely hurt! they come with every other hole being laced which makes them fold a little weirdly when on but relacing them (even though it was a PITA) made them look as pictured. zipping is a bit tough depending on the size of your calf but once they’re on they’re perfect!

Cute

I was skeptical at first. It’s hard to purchase shoes online without knowing what they really look like the material and what not. However, my daughter is into her goth stage and these boots looked adorable. Upon arrival I will be honest they stunk so bad of a chemical smell like rubber or something like that. But after airing out for a day or two, the smell is gone. My daughter put them on and fell in love. I didn’t wanna spend a fortune on platform Gothic boots because she is growing so fast. But for under 50 bucks, she could probably wear them for the next six months to a year. It was well worth the money.
