These babys are heavy duty, nice thick real leather, not that shiny cracked lines across the top stuff. These feel like boots in the toe area. Very sturdy and comfortable. Fits perfect true to size. Mega traction gripping bottoms. Virtually no break in for me, if your looking for black oxford style for working security, kitchens or any on your feet job then these are for you, I'm definitely a grabber shoe fan from now on.....great shoe!!
Horrible. Walked with them for around an hour or so in a nearby store and it messed up my ankle. Very stiff, pressed my skin up there, if i was not wearing socks, it would have cut me open from all the grinding it did against my foot. The fit is really bad too, the "knuckles" of my toes hit the tops of the shoe, gave a very "claustrophobic" feeling. Like i was wearing a shoe too small in terms of the height of it, which is strange because it actually has more room than converse i wear. Avoid.
I honestly didn't expect much from these shoes, but mine were falling apart and needed a pair asap. They looked like the ones I had that lasted a long time that were extremely comfortable, but shockingly the Grabbers G1120 Work Shoe did a darn good job of replacing the shoes I had that I loved. They are comfortable, the leather remains nice, and the shoe laces are still not frayed. The price of the Grabbers was also amazing, very affordable. I would buy these exact shoes again.I wear them so much that the bottom of the heel is starting to sort of peel off, but that's just because I do wear them A LOT. It isn't major and I honestly will just throw some JB weld under the sole to fix the issue and they are brand new again.Thanks for reading!!!!
Loved these shoes when I got them, and still happy with fit and comfort -- but heel is separating from shoe and middle layer of sole is breaking down and missing chunks after couple months wear
These are some of the most comfortable casual oxfords I've ever owned. Excellent cushioning, solid-looking construction, and overall decent materials. The soles are extremely "grippy" and I don't have any worries about slipping while wearing these. I got them for office/business casual wear, that is mostly at a desk, but occasionally involves going onto shop floor or outside worksites. I would be confident, however, that they would wear well and be very comfortable for long-term wear in a position that involves a lot of standing or walking. The reason for only 4 stars, is that the leather on the top of the toe box area creased significantly within the first day of wear. I minor nitpick, and it happens with any oxford, but I've never had it happen in the first day of use, to this degree.
Ordered a pair because I used to wear them for work. The last pair I received was a Christmas present, but lasted 3 months. I figured I would splurge and get me something more durable. Unfortunately the new pair I got created painful foot problems. I decided to go back to the Grabbers because they never bothered my foot. HUGE MISTAKE! I ordered a pair and after just 6 hours of wear the backside of the heel started to separate. I requested a replacement and wouldn’t you know it, the section next to the laces are separating on the right shoe, and the left pair is separating at the heel again. Don’t waste your time or money on this product.
I ordered a 13 wide. They sent a shoe that was marked 13 wide but it was more like a size 12 regular with. Good shoe but there sizes are off.
