These shoes are definitely true to size. I ordered half a size up so I could wear thick socks with them, but that ended up being unnecessary because the shoes are already quite roomy on their own. When they arrived, they did have a strong paint-like smell, which has faded since out of the box now.In terms of comfort, they feel good on the feet, but I’ve noticed that I tend to sweat more in these than in my other shoes.The shoes themselves are well made, the sole is thick and sturdy, which gives the shoes a solid durable feel. I also like the ankle strap, it’s convenient since you don't actually have to undo anything to slip them on or off.

Comfortable
I was pleasantly surprised by both the fit and feel of these mary jane flats. A lot of patent leather shoes feel stiff and uncomfortable, but these are neither. Having worn them for several hours, my feet feel great. The buckle is unique in that it clasps for quick putting on and taking off. You can still adjust the length of the buckle to be longer or shorter, but once set, it is cleverly designed for easier clasping.

High Shine Beautiful Looking Mary Janes
Okay these are WAY cuter in person. I normally never buy faux leather shoes but I thought I'd take a chance on the patent leather ones here and I am so glad I did. They look just so lovely coming out of the box with a high shine. They do have a narrow toe box but seem to be sized accordingly. They make my slightly wide feet look narrower which I can appreciate. They feel really nice and comfortable although I've yet to wear them out. I plan to wear them with dresses, skirts, and cut off jeans. The buckle is not a real buckle. There is a sort of hook that holds the faux buckle in place. At first I thought I would hate this, but I actually kind of love it. It makes adjusting the strap and taking it on and off a lot easier.
