BUY THESE BOOTS

I spent a ton of money on MUCK BOOTS.... only to have them tear a SEAM. I never thought rubber boots had seams. But the MUCKS I had, had seams. and they leaked like crazy. I tried 5 different water proofing systems and patch repairs, only to have all of them fail. The GRUDENS... I didn't care how much they cost when I first had a chance to physically inspect them. No obvious seams. Solid. I don't care about 'lining.' If I want lining, I'll wear socks. These boots are PRO BOOTS - nobody in their right mind is going to be out in cold, wet weather in rubber boots that have a billionth of a chance of failing. To some people, that's death. Frostbite. For me, I want to keep my toes. BUY THESE BOOTS - they are good.

I bought Grundens DECK-BOSS Boots as a gift for my husband. Grunden's is a quality product. They fit true to size, are Waterproof, and appear to be durable. He will use them for fishing. I wish I had bought a half size larger than what he wears for plenty of room for heavy socks but he felt he didn't need heavy socks with these boots. He was happy with gift, so I recommend them!

Fit is Great HOWEVER

These are excellent boots and the fit is very good with two different insoles, so they are quite comfortable on. However, they are a bit of a challenge to put on and super difficult to remove due to the narrow ankle section. I had to buy a boot jack to help.

Garbage lest than three weeks use and the soles delaminated. Two days past return window. I received a replacement pair from Grudens, they also failed same issue. The amazon Seller is non responsive $143 in the trash.
