Seems to run small for size

I had to return (Thank you Amazon) these boots but immediately ordered a larger size. I could not zip up the size I normally wear, while the inside was snug but acceptable, the tongue was too thick to allow me to zip. The boots seemed to be of excellent quality and look great. I hope the replacement ones will fit.

Nice boots!

Every ten or twelve years I buy a new pair of hiking/walking boots. I prefer something that is good support for long walks (sadly not something I can do any more) and can be worn on the wet/rainy/snow winter days. Sadly, the soles on my last pair of Rugged Outbacks are nearly bald . . . so, time for new tires, er, shoes. After poking around town at the usual places you find shoes, I spotted hiking boots on Amazon. I was leery of buying shoes I haven't tried on first, but I finally broke down and looked; hopefully I don't have to rely upon Amazon's good return policy. These caught my eye; 'waterproof', a good rating and a zipper for ease of putting on and taking off.So far, so good. I received them yesterday morning. The fit was as expected and the arch support is perfect (I have very flat feet and most shoes hurt my arches), they are more comfortable than most hiking boots and the zipper seems to work fine and stay up well (a complaint by some). After wearing them around the complex a couple of times, I hit the local park and walk about a mile-and-a-quarter. We have had snow here, and then it warmed up the last few days, so it is very wet out . . . the boots did not leak despite my tromping through low puddles, wet grass and 3-4 inches of snow. Awesome!1-24-21 / Update : Still loving the boots. They are my winter wear shoes and I use them on most walks. My only complaint thus far comes from walking in the snow; if snow gets on top of the zipper, it can melt an seep in . . . a rare occurrence, it's only happened twice.

Good value for the money

Seems like a good value for the money, but I’ve only been wearing them for a week or so so time will tell. I have noticed that the zipper comes down sometimes on its own and that’s so annoying, but I’m not sure if it’s my fault.

Nice but too short

What I liked was the design and construction, it has all the support for hiking or hunting in snow, slush and icy terrain better than muck boots. What was wrong and why I returned them, they were too short and the top cuff on the boot rubbed my ankle where it was uncomfortable even painful. They can fix this by adding some padding around the ankle area or making the boot a couple inches higher on the leg instead on the ankle area. No issues with the zipper some had mentioned, sizing is accurate maybe get half size bigger if you want to wear thick socks.
