Haflingers are the best wool clog out there
About every 3-4 years I buy a new pair of Haflinger clogs to wear as my indoor house shoes. I also have a pair with raised heels that I wear at time during the winter, outside. Last time I tried Steadmen’s but they were a tighter fit and the wool split for some reason in the heel. Back to my tried and true Haflinger’s I went.I have Morton’s Neuroma in my left foot and some loss of feeling in my toes on my right foot from a chiropractic session gone bad that damaged nerves in my spine that resulted in permanent numbness down the calf and across the right foot. So I do wear Sole metatarsal insoles, even in my house shoes. The Haflingers have plenty of room to allow me to put those in and to even wear my thicker winter socks without being too tight. I also wear them without socks in the house and they aren’t too loose but that may be because I have the Sole insert in them. For those who don’t need orthotics in their shoes, they may find Haflingers too loose but you can buy an inexpensive non orthotic Scholl’s insert from your local grocery store of pharmacy and that will take care of that issue.Haflingers will last practically forever. I’ve been wearing them for over 20 years. They aren’t cheap but they are worth the money for their looks and longevity and comfort.

Sizing is wrong compared to their other styles
These ran VERY LARGE compared to other versions of their slippers!!! Have to wear VERY thick socks to hold them on my feet. Disappointed. Too expensive to return at my expense.

Great for wide, problem feet!
I wish these weren't so expensive, but they are honestly pretty much the only shoes I wear nowadays. I wear size 8EE; have high arches and bunions and my big toes are shorter than the toes next to them . . . all making it very difficulty to find shoes that fit and don't make my feet hurt. I am a substitute in the school district, and I do wear them to work. No one has complained so far. :) Oddly, although you'd think they'd all be created the same, some of the Grizzlys don't fit my feet the same as others, so it's kind of hit-or-miss . . . but these Amayas are perfect!!! The denim color will work well, too.
