I ordered these on the advice of my orthopedic doc, to help reduce inflammation caused by Morton's Neuroma. I wear them inside the house and they are warm without being too hot. They fit better when I wear socks but I bought a size up because I usually will wear them with socks in the cooler weather! They are nice looking and of excellent quality. The arch support is comfortable. I hope these last through a couple of winters at least!

This is the fifth or sixth pair of Haflinger Grizzly Slippers I have bought throughout approximate 20 years. I keep getting the same thing because they are fantastic — fit well, have tons of arch support, sturdy construction, and totally comfortable. The boiled wool fabric works well in the winter with socks and it’s just as comfortable in the warmer weather without socks. The slippers have a wonderful cork sole but the bottom has another layer of rubber sole for firm footing, I wear these slippers because they provide the support I need after back surgeries and foot surgeries. The pair I just received replaces a pair that is 5 years old; you may think the price is high for a slipper, but they wear so well that the price spread out over the years of wear is minimal. Get these slippers and you won’t be disappointed.
I've worn these for a week & been impressed. The selection of slippers with the foot support disappointed me, so I googled "slippers with cork soles" & found these. They're warm without making my feet sweaty. The insole supports my foot beautifully, but they are not cushy. I did not give them a five star rating because of the sizing. I bought a size 36 in the Grizzly for myself, and both the 39 & 40 of the Haflinger Haley for my mother. I've worn several pairs of Danskos, and 36 fits like a glove. The Haflinger in 36 is a bit too large, but workable w/ thicker socks. I would have believed that Haflinger just ran a little bigger than Danskos had my mom's 39 been a little big (she wears size 39 in Danskos). Turns out that the 39 is too small and she needs the 40. So, I can give you no advice as to sizing. Thankfully, I CAN say that Amazon makes returns & refunds easy as pie.

I've had many pairs of Haflinger clogs over the years, starting as a remedy for the pain of plantar fasciitis. They have such great support I can't live without them. I do think the sizing has been inconsistent over the years. Even the reviews seem to back this up, with some people sizing up and some sizing down. (According to the brand, "Your heel should be in the heel cup and your arch should be resting on the arch of the shoe.") I wear a 7.5 shoe and ordered the recommended 38 EU. They felt so big that it seemed like they could fall off when walking down the stairs. I sized down to a 37 and am much happier with the fit. There's still some room at the toe yet they stay on my feet better. The shoe has stretched a little which will be good for wearing thicker socks this winter. I would just recommend trying a few sizes to find what works best for your foot.
