Love the purple mauve color. Love the comfort and warmth.
I have been purchasing Haflinger clogs and slippers a long time because I love the support they give my feet. I really love the color of the mauve ( deep purple). Looking forward to wearing these especially in the winter months, but they are great all year round because they allow your feet to breathe, because of the wool. I am a believer in natural fibers over synthetic which always makes your feet hot, not these. It is comfort all the way around. Can’t go wrong with these.

I'm in love
My Haflinger slippers gave instant comfort. The toe box was wide enough for my bunions and the fleece and thick soles keep my always cold feet nice and warm. I had researched fleece slippers and these had the overall best reviews. I wear slippers year around and these will not wear out! They are great!!

Massive arch lump
This either fits your foot or it doesn't. There's no breaking-in, no hoping it will stretch or shrink. Either the arch support, width, and length are ideal at first try-on, or forget it. In my case, it's the latter. The arch support is obnoxiously high and uncomfortable. It's a high quality shoe, but I prefer to use my own arch, not a shoe's.

I FINALLY found COMFORT for my small TROUBLED tiny feet!!
My LONG journey in search of finding quality, descent house slippers has reached it's end. :)This clog hits all my demands for comfort. I actually look forward to wearing these in the evenings/mornings during my 1st winter season with them. I've had painful flatfeet all my life. I am in agony barefooted. They are PERFECTLY designed with a nicely designed wide toe box that don't make you look like a clown, slight arch AND a NICE 1" heel which most I tried, the heel compresses, these feel solid. The soul relaxes my fear of falling on porclein floors. Lambskin interior is like wrapping your body in your favorite winter blanket. My shoe size is 38/7, that's what I ordered, perfect.

Haflinger quality, warmth and style -- less longevity
I expect to be a lifelong Haflinger customer.I bought my first pair of clogs in 1994 and wore them for 15 years. They were the classic boiled wool style -- very warm, comfortable, doing double-duty as slippers and casual shoes before that was trendy. My only gripe was that the soles were smooth, which almost compromised my dignity on a few occasions of wintry weather. I only got rid of them because the wool began to thin at the big toe.Christmas 2010 I replaced my beloved wool Haflingers with the leather and shearling Snowbird because I wanted all the features of the classic boiled wool clog, but with the increased warmth of shearling. I got it. In addition, I have appreciated the subtle arch support and contoured footbed that my old clogs also had. However, I'm giving the Snowbird a four-star rating instead of a five-star rating because they are showing wear far sooner than their predecessors.The Snowbird is warm, comfortable and stylish. You really can't go wrong with Haflinger; few footwear companies nowadays have maintained their quailty standards. From my experience though, I'd put my money toward the longer-wearing boiled wool style. The shearling-lined Snowbird CAN be worn without a sock, but it leads to foot odor, something I never experienced with the boiled wool version. So, since these will have to be replaced sooner, I think I'll go back to the wool clog, and just wear a sock for extra warmth.
