Don't waste your money
What a complete and utter waste of money. I purchased these in mid September and started wearing them daily, by end of Sept. They were comfy and warm. They were expensive but I thought I was buying quality. I wear them inside the house only, for about 4 to 6 hours a day. It is the end of November and I have been wearing these daily, inside for a mere 8 weeks. I looked down this morning (as I was wearing them) and saw a white patch. I bent to brush it off and realized that it was my sock and that the 8 week old slipper has worn through the toe. These slippers were not too small. I had room to spare in the back heel. I checked the other slipper and sure enough there is a wear mark inside that will wear out completely soon. I expect slippers like this to last a good one year or more. I had similar ones from LLBean that were about the same price. They lasted two years! I will never buy these again. Please just go buy the ones from LLBean. You'll at least get a year or two out of them vs. mere weeks.

No more easy returns beware
The shoes are ok, they run hella small. But the issue is that now Amazon makes you wait 30 days for a refund. The days of try before you buy w easy returns are over. Definitely will not buy stuff like this from Amazon or this seller again.

Warm, supportive & comfortable.
These have nice support. They are snug at first but give after a few wears. They are warm and have held up well. I’ve had no issues. I did size up because I prefer to wear them with socks.

Great while they last, which isn’t long
I love felt slippers, and I have tried many brands. Dr Feet, Birkenstock, Glerups, and these. The worst are the Birkenstocks, which have a really uncomfortable molded footbed. The Glerups are the coziest and would be my top pick but they have no arch support and make my fasciitis flare up (I have high arches). Dr Feet are the most affordable and make a good backup pair with some arch support but a bit less warmth (at least the ones I found in USA; other countries may have more variations to choose from). The best compromise has been these; comfortable, warm (although not as much as Glerups), and with decent arch support. My complaint is that it didn’t take long for them to develop holes in the felt in the toe area (which none of the others have done). I keep wearing them as they’re still usable and weren’t cheap, but it is disappointing (in contrast I wore a pair of Glerups every day for nearly a year at the start of COVID lockdown, and they were almost as good as new; just gave them up because of the fasciitis problem).

Worth getting...
Great slippers as I've had two previous pairs. What's happened, and I've just learned from other reviews on the net and here, is that a hole gets worn in the big toe area on each foot. The rest of the slipper wears very well and is intact. I wear mine every day ,most of the day. Love the arch support, the ability to wash them... which you can't do with a shearling slipper, love that rubber sole so I can get the mail from outside. They're warm and toasty, plus as a natural fiber they breathe. I do wish a representative from Haflinger would contact me... I unsucessfully tried to on their corporate site....to address this issue with the big toe area wearing through. I still decided to buy this brand because of the comfort and I love them.

Did not last
After year 1 I got a hole in the toe area. . I do love these slippers but I wish they would have lasted longer at this price.

The long and thorough review, read this first!
Let me first say to those who hate reading long reviews (TL;DR): These are worth the price, you will throw away your old slippers after buying these, they keep you warm but not sweaty, they take a day or two to break in and are then comfy forever. Now, for the long version:I was tired of my old $20 slippers because they were too roomy, caused me to sweat, and thus started to smell bad after a few months. Those synthetic fur lined slippers seem comfy, but they are just a bacteria trap. And the fur gets matted down to the point where it may as well have been lined with dreadlocked boar fur. After researching for a couple days, I found many people pointing me to these Haflinger slippers. I eventually bought them once I convinced myself that paying more for quality is mostly worth it, even for slippers.Man, am I glad I did. I can honestly say that I have been smiling and telling friends and family about these since I got them.Comfort:They hug your feet like a big thick sock, more so right out of the box. As mentioned before, that snug fit settles down into a more comfortable level after wearing for an hour or two, and just gets better over time as it gets used to your foot shape/size.Warmth:Not too hot like the other brands. I feel like they keep you a few degrees above neutral, so you know your feet are warm, but don't have to think much about it or take them off every few minutes to breathe and cool off.Material:Boiled wool is comfortable in a different way. Like, instead of being super fluffy and soft, it feels like it just belongs on your feet. Sort of reminds me of walking on a new thick, luxurious carpet.Sole:The rubber sole is nice and pliable, so it isn't very noisy when on hard floors, and you don't have to switch shoes when going to get the mail or driving your kids to school in your pajamas!Sizing:First off, I personally appreciate finding these in my size. I am 6 foot 5, 275lb, and a size 16, so I tend to find that the best option for each type of clothing is not usually available for me. But Haflinger came along and made me a happy man. Secondly, I think the sizing is pretty accurate, but depending on your arch and foot width, you may need to go up a size.Pricing:Clearly, these cost more than what the average person thinks slippers are worth. ~$75 to $90+ may sound like a lot. Then again, my everyday shoes are $160 plus $200 orthotics, so why shouldn't I value my nighttime comfort just as much as my daytime comfort? Also, it is easy to get caught up in just going by high star reviews, but realize that just because some other slipper has thousands of 4 star reviews doesn't mean that those people didn't have to keep buying them way more often or jumping around to other cheap brands. Having worn these now, I think they are fully worth the price.Well, I think that is long enough. After a year, I will try to come back with an update. But I have a feeling I will still be happy with these slippers.
