So glad I splurged!
Having comfortable slippers is a must, but even though I wear them more than any other shoes I still didn't want to spend the money. I actually looked at these shoes for almost a full year. I'm so glad I bought them! Apparently I've never owned a truly quality pair of slippers before, and lemme tell ya. The shoes fit WONDERFULLY. They are snug enough to stay completely on my foot, and they keep my chronically cold feet warm even without socks. In fact, there's no cold/clammy feet when wearing these without socks. Just comfortably warm tootsies. They formed to my foot within a week and feel great and supportive.In all honesty, I never thought a pair of slippers would make me happy (weird, right??) but they doooooo! The mother hen and chicks are beyond adorable.The only thing I dislike about the shoes is that dark wool soles do collect some loose hairs/dirt/fuzz from the floor, but that's not much of a complaint. All in all, I love these shoes. If you're thinking about buying them, just do it! You won't be sorry.************Almost 1 year later, these slippers are still great. I've washed them quite a few time and they reshape nicely. They're much looser now tho. And the cloth bottoms are pretty gross, they grab EVERYTHING off the floor. I wish I had gotten slippers with a hard bottom. But I still wear them every day, very comfy.

Wonderful!
This has always been my favorite slipper brand. They are super comfortable, have a wide toe bed, great arch support, and wonderful construction. In addition, I love the chicks and hen on the pair I bought. The only correction I would have is that this is not "Blue". They are dark gray.

Warm shoes!
Really impressed with the quality of these shoes. Had never had a pair of house slippers from Halflinger. Very warm. Only drawback is they seem to run wide-at least the more you wear them, they seem to loosen up. Definitely not for narrow feet. I have a need for wide width and they are almost a tad too wide for med after wearing a few times. Nonetheless, I really like them! Adorable design!

The perfect slipper
I found Haflingers 20 years ago and I’ve never worn another slipper. I can’t say anything about the rubber soled versions but this is my “go to” house slipper for good reason. They need no break in. They don’t absorb odors. They last for a couple of years. And they are just darned comfortable. I look forward to slipping these on every morning and evening. Now I give them to all of my family as gifts and I’ve made converts of most of them.

Cute and comfortable slippers
I've had similar slippers by Acorn but when I saw these with the hen and chicks I loved them. There isn't a huge amount of support but there is some in the arch. At first the slippers can feel a bit snug but since they are made of wool they do stretch out pretty quickly. They kind do mold to your foot. The only thing that is kind of annoying is that the bottom of the sole is made of rubber grips and wool. The slippers pick up fuzz, thread, etc. all over the house. I use a sticky garment roller to clean them off.
