Best shoes for sore feet
Haflingers are the best shoes for sore feet or feet with medical issues. Very supportive. I've owned at least 8 pairs over 10+ years and still have the first pair. Use then for gardening shoes now, they have holes but fit my feet perfectly. The ones with the cork sole are the only way to go as that material conforms to your feet. They have so many types of shoes even sandals and work shoes. I generally need to by sz 7.5 in other shoes but wear a 7 in halflingers. The toe box is wide and comfy. I would say they have medium arch support. Life changers for people with bad feet. But these particular shoes which were meant as a Christmas gift were "lost" by the USPS for over a month so beware of seller's shipping method.

Great shoes or slippers
Love these. I have about 3 pairs and they help my plantar fasciitis. Recommend

Worth every penny! So comfortable!
This is my second pair of these! After wearing the first pair for about 15 years, it was time for them to retire! I love the arch support and the warmth of Haflingers. I wear these as slippers/house shoes only. 10/10 would recommend Haflingers!

These sizes run large
I liked it better when you had the European size option. This is my fourth pair of these shoes. They don't last as long as I would like, but they are comfortable. I have always worn a size 36 in European sizes. So when Amazon changed to American sizing I ordered the same size I've worn for 45 years, size 6. But I had to return the shoes and order a size 5, which fits. Other that size issues, the shoes are very comfortable and I'll probably keep ordering them as they wear out. At least now I know the right size.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY enough COMFORT AND QUALITY
I would rate them 4.5 stars.-The negative/ not fully positive aspects: The clogs dug into my navicular, cuneiforms and cuboid foot bones (top of foot, above the phalanges) and were quite uncomfortable until broken in (took me a few days). Then, very comfortable. The clogs also feel somewhat heavy, have a thick bottom and sole, making me taller than I am. The arch support is good, but not amazing, in my opinion, and I find these clogs quite roomy (width and length). I don't agree with reviews advising to go up in size.-The positive points: Excellent breathability, warmth and coolness, comfort, and silence when stepping. I find these comfortable, quality- looking, and not junk- looking.-Other remarks: Depending on the photos of the clogs, I really thought I was going to receive some platform clogs, but no: The sole is thick, but not so tall and wedgy, although the most sole-y I've ever had.The stepping and walking are very smooth and comfortable (once broken in) and my feet never smell ...unpleasantly. Oh the marvel of natural materials!-Very expensive (bought these at 30 % off, and it is plenty), but high quality and if they last as I expect (years), I will probably buy again in a few years for the positives and especially the natural, sustainable materials used. I received a box all in German (I think they were made in Poland), with the entire story of the company included (German craftsmanship etc). So far so good. It was extremely difficult to find some shoe without plastic but rubber, cork, and no synthetic ---but here we are. I put my money where my values are. I will update for durability.

My favorite Shoe!
Over the years I have purchased several pairs of Halflinger clogs. I am flat footed and the arch support with these shoes keeps me from developing shin splints. I wear them year-round, even during Minnesota cold, snowy winters, the rubber soles are very grippy. They are very well made and last. It takes me a couple years to wear them out - and then I turn them into yard and cabin beaters.
