The uppers on these shoes are very stiff and unyielding right out of the box. Not much cushioning in the soles, but they are amazingly gorgeous! The ship individually wrapped in a thin fabric bag which (I'm sure) kept them from scratching each other up in the box. The spikes are legit, they will scuff you up pretty good so watch where you swing them. Definitely not safe around pets. The fabric is nice and shiny wit foil threads woven into the fabric on the backs and sides. These are amazing looking shoes.

One of a kind
These will make people give you attention for sure. The fit was true to size. The style is off the charts with the spikes! I wear these with white socks to make a statement! Let me tell you - these shoes are an Event!!! They're Striking!!! They're the kind of shoes that you plan an entire outfit around. In fact, you can just wear all black and the shoes do all the style work.I ordered them for my oldest son who enjoys pushing the envelop a little bit.
