We live in Alaska but it’s not always snowy/icy. A lot of the time it’s just cold and wet. My daughter is picky but I got her these boots to keep her feet warm and dry…she absolutely loves them. The quality is excellent and they are waterproof and cute as can be. Definitely a good Amazon buy!

My daughter initially liked these, they’re cute and comfortable and the size was right.We quickly realized that the Velcro straps weren’t so much functional as a design feature. After wearing them for exactly one month and one week, they are broken, in addition to looking absolutely awful. The metal loop holding the Velcro strap on one of the shoes has snapped off, so the strap is now dangling dangerously. The straps have also been ripping apart over the last few weeks as she’s attempted to snug the shoes to her feet. The material on the toe has easily scratched and deteriorated. She’s only worn these to school and in our day to day life, which is pretty blandly suburban. No wilderness excursions, no climbing gyms, no snow or even much rain exposure.These shoes were an utter waste of money. I’m so mad at myself for not going with a known brand.
