I like these rain boots for my granddaughter I bought them again but in a different size. Her foot slips right in. No buckles, ties or velcro to deal with. She can put them on herself. They are rubber and clean up easily. After 2 years, her old ones look brand new.

Super cute but scuffs up easily

I ordered three different rain boots for my 5-year-old daughter to try on. All different brands, same size. Initially she wanted a patterned pair with unicorns or rainbows but when she put the pink Hatley rain boots on, she said they fit her so much better and wanted to keep them. The other brands seemed to pinch in the ankle area but these just fit her better. She is a size 13 in her tennis shoes, soccer shoes, ballet shoes and cowgirl boots but this size 13 were a bit large. I had her wear thick socks to help keep the boots from slipping off and that seemed to do the trick. I don't mind that them being a tad larger because that just means she might be able to wear these now and hopefully later in the fall if we get any additional rain. CAUTION if you are OCD like myself. The pink boots show scuff marks that don’t wipe off easily. I’ve found using a stain remover and a scrub brush is the only way to get those marks off. I have to do this every time she wears them otherwise, they look filthy. After each scrub down, they look brand new again but not without effort on my part.
