My go-to shoes for pickleball.
I bought these for pickleball. They took a while to break in (they were so stiff to begin with, I avoided wearing them for a couple of weeks), but are now quite comfortable. I bought a half size larger so I can replace the insert with a thicker memory foam insole and pair them with a cushioned tennis sock. And to avoid my heel slipping around, I apply a runner's loop on the laces. While they're a bit heavier than my Babolats, my feet feel super secure, I'm still able to move around the court quickly, and I never worry about slipping. I have quite a high foot bridge and I find some shoes to be unaccommodating no matter how I fix the laces. But these are not an issue with mine. The toe box is wider, and I can play for several hours without my feet hurting or throbbing. The beige and neon yellow/green looks great with a lot green leggings and shorts I wear, but I'll pair them with just about any color. My only qualm is that in the tiny ventilation holes above the toes, there appears to be dark spots around them. I wonder if this is mold from sweat and if so, ew. I air out my shoes after every play and rotate my footwear. None of my other pickleball shoes do this.Overall, I think this is a great shoe if you value stability and durability. If you have a high foot bridge and appreciate a little room in the toe box, this would be a great option.
