As my title states, these shoes just slide on! You don't have to worry about tightening straps! That could be a good thing, or a bad thing, depending on your particular body. If you have very thin ankles, you might find these a bit loose. For those with thicker ankles for whatever reason, these might be a bit snug. I know that my ankles can get swollen from time to time.
