Good looking dress shoes
More comfortable that most dress shoes I've worn. These have a lot of insole padding that provides excellent cushioning. The heel is stiff and will require some break-in, but it's typical and a bit softer than most. These have a toe area that's extra long, which seems to be the fashion trend. The color is better than I expected, as it's not just a single shade of brown, but more of an ombre look. I expected to smell rich, natural leather when I opened the box, but instead there was a strong solvent-like odor, which is probably from a leather conditioner. It took more than a week for the smell to diminish, and I would have preferred the natural leather smell that most dress shoes have. The leather at the bend point is not stiff, and when combined with the thick insole, they were comfortable on first wear. These leather dress shoes are well-constructed despite being value priced.

Good value dress shoe
My son needed a dress shoe to go along with his suit. He won't be wearing them regularly, so this is more a casual use case. These shoes are perfect for what he requires. They are nice leather dress shoes that look good. He says that they are comfortable, but I could only get him to wear them for an hour before he took them off (he didn't want to wear them to run in). They do match well with his suit, and he likes that they do not slip when he walks. He had rental shoes for a wedding, and he hated the traction of those. We got him the brown regular shoe (not the wing tip) and they are exactly as pictured in the description. There is one thing in the product listing that I'm not sure really pertains to this shoe. It says that they are waterproof. I would not feel comfortable walking through a deep puddle in these. If they get rained on, they are probably fine but that's not what I think of when I read waterproof. Overall, these are a solid dress shoe and for the price, they are an excellent value.
