The most impressive feature of these shoes is feeling the ground beneath you but without pain. Gravel, grass, concrete your feet are protected but you connect with the ground and it improves your balance. I have diabetic neuropathy and these shoes were a life changer! I can walk on the beach with no pain, my favorite thing to do! If these shoes interest you, give them a try! Mine go everywhere and I toss them in the washer, no problem.
Very airy, light and comfortable. If you wear them for a long walk you might want to put an insole with an arch support in the sneaker for support.
So, I am a pretty hefty girl and I have knee issues. I kept seeing these shoes come across my Facebook page so I decided to come to Amazon to see if they had them at a reasonable price, and they did! No questions about it, I ordered them and they feel really good. It truly is almost like walking barefoot. They are comfortable and fit my foot like a glove. The shoe strings are, I guess you could say adjustable so that you can pull the strings and make tighter or looser with the little shoe lace clip thing, I don't know what you call it. lol
I like the shoes, no real support, looks good on, good value. BUT. I had to order another pair and go up a size..bummer..cause they run small. They have a wide toe box but the length was not there. I take a 9.5 but had to get a 10. Too short, trying an 10/11. I didn't feel that they were up to all the hype but I want to try them again just to be fair. They come in all different price ranges so read reviews. 1st pair I paid over $70. Stupid decision. I will donate.
These shoes are so cute and great to wear in the water. BUT, wow, my feet cannot handle the "barefoot" shoe. There is no arch support. You feel every crack and bump in the ground. I would not go hiking around rocks with them. I see so many adds about how great they are, so comfortable, and life changing for your posture. NOT true. I can only wear for a few hours and then my feet throb afterwards. If you have sore feet, these probably won't help you. I ordered according to the chart, but they were still too short. I ordered 2 pair. I never wore the second pair thinking I could take advantage of the "refunds guarantee". I read that I had to write directly to "Hike" for their "approval" of me making a return. I wrote an email as directed and never heard back from them. I tried to call, but no way to get a phone call to them. Now I have two really expensive shows that I can't return, and I could have just bought water shoes at Walmart for the quality these are. Good luck with a purchase, maybe you will like them better. HOWEVER, Amazon does very well with returns, so just remember to return them through Amazon on time if you try them and don't like them.
Very lightweight, easy to put on, great shoes to lounge around the house in. They are slip Resistant on water (key word "Resistant"). Anyway, real complaint is, these shoes are labeled/described "hiking shoes". Not very good for hiking as you feel every pebble distinctly and every sharp edge. A bit expensive for what they're actually good for. Comfortable.
Love these shoes. Got them riding my e-bike. Comfortable and non slip for a good price.
