They stay on and are super comfortable.
I am wheelchair bound due to have a illness that causes a permanent drop foot. Which has made it impossible for me to keep shoes on because of my foot position since 2018. I have tried many soft sole styles over the years including water socks and none stayed on! I came across this companies ad many months ago and looked briefly and decided to pass after already trying so many styles from other companies and none of them working as they claimed. I had changed my focus to socks. After trying way to many shoes that weren't as they claimed. When I was online pre-shopping for Christmas gift ideas and a Hike brand shoes ad popped up several times. I opened their page and read all the information and reviews and of course their return policy. I put a pair in the cart for myself and a pair for my husband who has neuropathy after reading many reviews from others with neuropathy who were claiming they found relief from the usual pain associated with foot wear. I then saved the site with the open cart and moved on without finalizing the order. Fast forward to mid December and I received a message reminding me of my open cart. I again opened up the link and read the most recent reviews and decided to finish my order. After my past tries I wasn't truly expecting the outcome to be anything more, than the time it takes to do a return. So, imagine my surprise when they were as they said! They look very much like actual sneakers and were easy to put on and they seemed to be well made. The stretchy laces are bendable heal make it much easier for both of us. We both decided to try them, for an hour day one, to see how our feet tolerated them. We were both really surprised when we took them off we had no swelling or marks we'd both experienced before with other brands shoes. Day two, we stuck to one hour in the morning and then added two hours in the afternoon the results were the same as day one. Day three we wore them to the grocery store. It was raining and as usual the tile floors at the entrance was wet. My husband said the anti slip soles were great and worked 100% better then many of his other name brand shoes. Who had claimed theirs were anti-slip and they weren't. We kept the shoes on while we unpacked our groceries (we normally remove our shoes immediately) and put the groceries away before removing our barefoot shoes (worn without socks). We were both pleasantly surprised that when we removed them the results were exactly the same as day one. Over the past few days they are the only shoes we've worn. We are now waiting on our second pair of Hike shoes. This time we ordered the cloud style for a different color and style and partially as a test before my buying a pair for my active 94 year old mother. Who has difficulty finding shoes that are comfortable due to her having arthritis in her feet. I am excited to have found a pair of shoes for myself and my husband that are exactly as advertised. I will let you know once we test pair two. Even with the busy holiday shopping and shipping they arrived in two weeks earlier than they had originally given us.
