If the shoe doesn’t fit …
It’s difficult for me to review these thoroughly because the fit is horrible and they are too uncomfortable to wear, but I know enough about them not to recommend them.I am solidly a size 10 1/2, which was unavailable in this shoe, so I reluctantly ordered an 11 thinking they would be a bit loose. Instead they were way too tight. I probably could have gone up a size and a half or even two sizes for these to fit properly.I did try these on and walked a bit with them, and I found the sole very slippery on my hardwood floors. Perhaps they need to be broken in, but a daily wear shoe with cleats seems impractical. These are marketed as a baseball or softball shoe, which seems about right, but they would probably also work for football or golf. Regardless, these wouldn’t function as a general walking shoe. The upper on these appears to be synthetic rather than leather, which I have no problem with, though sometimes manmade materials aren’t comfortable or durable in a shoe. These are an attractive shoe nonetheless, more of a midrise than a high-top.These come with a velcro strap in addition to laces, which would keep them in place on the baseball or softball diamond.Because I can’t truly test these shoes due to the poor fit, I will give them the benefit of the doubt and assign them two stars out of five rather than one. Regardless, I don’t recommend these shoes, but if you do get them, go a couple sizes high and adjust your expectations low.
