Sizing is accurate
This review is for the Mary Jane's for women arch support in the color brown with the Velcro strapI decided to order these for review because I have severe plantar fasciitis and so I thought I'd try these out.They do look like the listing photo and the sizing is accurate. I ordered a size 9.5 which is my usual size and had no problems with them not fitting length or width wise. I'd say maybe they were a bit roomy on the tops of my feet if that makes sense. Made it seem like my feet were really thin cause of the space between my feet and the tops of the shoe lol.There is some arch support but it almost felt like it was in the wrong spot? But I'm hypermobile so maybe it's just me. I usually wear custom orthotics so maybe that's also why it felt weird.I do appreciate the design of the back of the heel where it hits your ankle, it has a nice soft stretchy material there so it won't be cutting your ankle or creating blisters there.My main problem with these is they look SO cheap they looked silly :') my partner laughed at them and I had to laugh too because they did look so cheap they just looked kind of crazy.The image gives the impression they'll be high quality and maybe even leather. But it's definitely pleather and maybe more plastic than leather at all. The bottoms of the shoe are definitely a very obvious type of plastic. Not the hard thick rubber soles shoes are usually made of.Because of this though they're super light weight! So I guess that could be a plus but I'm pretty scared they'll break or something or put me at risk of rolling my ankles if the shoe decides to fall apart.The Velcro strap works well and stays put good so that was nice too.I think the list price is way overpriced for the quality of the materials. If it was more appropriately priced I'd have maybe given this 5 stars but I cannot in good conscience give this 5 stars with the high price and the low cost low quality materials.I gave it 4 because it does still look like the photos and it was true to size, the strap works good, the heel design was great. It's just the price and the feel/quality of the materials that was disappointing when you consider the price.If I had bought these myself I would've been very irritated/mad about the price versus what I got.
